Poll: The River of Ideas Keeps Right On Flowing · 8:51pm Jan 18th, 2023
Okay, away from the DnD uproar and back to the ponies.
Okay, away from the DnD uproar and back to the ponies.
Heya guys! I finally finished a good amount of my backlog, so I'm open for commissions at the moment. My rates will be around $20 per thousand words, although it may vary depending on content or number of characters involved. I don't know how many projects I'll be open to accept, but I'll likely delete this blogpost when I have enough to handle. Until then, please feel free to contact me though PM or Discord.
Hello to all of My current and future friends and followers.
I am wanting you all to be able to get to know me better as you all so-wish, so I am considering starting some fun Blog Post series, such as A Q.&.A. series, which I plan to host at-least Once A week.
I've got three projects in the works. Two of them are stepping-stone projects designed to bring me back up to speed with a regular pace of writing. These are similar in principle to Premonitions but with a greatly expanded scope. Right now I'm calling them:
Ah, feels good to complete a story so quickly once again.
Proud to announce that, even if I did go a bit beyond my original target deadline, the online writing plan I found certainly seems to have helped a great deal! Using this thing really helped me get my writing rhythm back.
That being said, Ticket's Taken is now complete, and it also feels great to have written a lighter, fluffier little piece than my previous stories.
So, what's next?
...
Well...
Quick update so you guys know I have not abandoned you or the story, slight spoilers ahead.
I have finished planning an arc with Bedlams character, and am now moving into the last part of the plan for the story which will focus more on Reiver and the ponies around him. We will also get some more with the stallion in the hospital and his relationship with Reiver, although you've probably all figured out who he is by now.
Anyways, just wanted to update you all so you dont worry.
Good evening folks!
As some of you might have noticed, I've published a new story titled Nightmare. This is one of the stories I had included in the poll a couple of blogs back, and I got this little bit done in just a couple of days. This has me -extremely- optimistic that I can sneak in chapter updates for this story in between larger updates for other stories relatively simply.
I got off my lazy ass and wrote a new Destiny chapter.
And here's my schedule.
The Division-City of Wolves-Prologue-Twilight and Nick reminisce about their time in New York, and some Rioter stumble on an arms cache. They are promptly killed by the Hunters, the new main antagonists, and their bodies left as a warning.
So. It's 12:41 AM, and I'm not tired at all right now. I've got some soft orchestral music looping in the background, and I already wrote my usual pile of horsewords into Pony-Me's in-progress chapter. Heck, I even got a few more unread chapters knocked off my tracking list. So what now?
Well, about Pony-Me. It's got quite a few versions of its narrative.
Let's turn back time a bit, shall we?
Pony-Me 1.0
Well fellas and felladies, that solar eclipse is just a few days away. All you Nightmare Moon fans/lovers will get to experience your coveted Eternal Night... for around three minutes. Still, to quote the Mighty No. 9 dev team: it's better than nothing. No doubt my roommate will get a kick out of that, since he's a major Nightmare Moon fan. He's got so many story ideas involving her (and Chrysalis); we might get to see them at some point on this site.
The Writers and Friends Room Party will be held Friday, 7 pm until 1 am (possibly longer) at the Holiday Inn (Inner Harbor).
Room number: 1013 (adjacent to elevators)
Cell phone of a wolf: 513-290-6836
See you there!
While I am really happy with my first story on this site, despite the errors ;)
I have been thinking about releasing it, but make it a bit longer, adding new details. Looking back at it, I still feel happy how it turned out, but now that I am writing the sequel and have a but more experience under my belt, I wonder if I should re release it and add more stuff than before.
Not sure I will do it, but I have been thinking about if I should do it or not.
Remember when I said that I wanted Thanatos' castle to have over one hundred rooms? Well, I just went to study the plans of Castle of Versailles, and I understood that I was really seeing things small. The Castle Of Versailles has about 2300 rooms! In comparison, Thanatos' castle would have looked more like a big manor with some towers. So much for the castle of Death.
Come around children, ol' Flinx's got a story to tell you. It's a big one, and it's rather important. If you like me updating you all, keeping you in the know, and putting out what I do here (sparse as it has been as of late, but we're working on it slowly but surely), I invite you to pull up a chair and ask any questions when we finish up.
Hello guys, just wanted to give you, as the title says, a little update.
People are being really supportive with Fallen Knight, and I am so glad that it is going well. And thank you guys for showing support for it! :3
I also wanna state that the story is not dead, if I am putting it on hold or it is, I will mark it as such. So don't worry, it is a alive.
Greetings fellow bronies and nerds.
I just wanted to give a quick update. First of all, sorry to those who has been waiting for Rising Storm for a while, I needed to plan out the path ahead for a bit. I know the overall story and the details, but there were some narrative choices I have not settled on yet.
