Remember when I said that I wanted Thanatos' castle to have over one hundred rooms? Well, I just went to study the plans of Castle of Versailles, and I understood that I was really seeing things small. The Castle Of Versailles has about 2300 rooms! In comparison, Thanatos' castle would have looked more like a big manor with some towers. So much for the castle of Death.
So, now I'm planning to put AT LEAST 1000 rooms in the castle. This means more rooms, but also more boss ghosts to imagine to fill them, and so, that the next Apple Bloom's Mansion will take even more time to come out.
The castle will have:
-4 floors
-1 basement level
-At least a dozen towers of various sizes
-I don't know yet how many wings (the main wing with the throne room and all, two wings with chambers for the staff, one wing with chambers for VIP ghosts, and I have in mind already two special wings for two of the four main bosses)
-A garden that will actually be a huge graveyard with tombs to explore
Time for me to start drawing. I'm still taking ideas.

Yeah, the human brain isn't very good at dealing with really huge things. Or randomness, for that matter.

So true. At least, now, I'm starting to have a global shape of the castle in mind. I'm imagining the main wing to look a little like Minas Tirith from The Lord of the Rings. Floor 1 and 2 will be the same size, then floor 3 will be smaller and floor 4 will be even smaller. Then, other wings will branch from the main one in all directions, like a star. I see some bridge connecting some of the wings, and pillars supporting others, smaller ones above the ground. And all this in a style very gothique similar to the one of Dracula's Castle from Castlevania, especially like we can see in the two Lords of Shadows episodes.
I just thought of a funny idea for one of the boss ghosts. You know how Thanatos put Apple Bloom through his so-called Death Games? Well, what if we made that literal? As in, one of the boss ghosts could try to kill Apple Bloom and the others using sports-based tactics with a deadly twist. For instance, he could use a spear as a javelin to try and impale Apple Bloom, or crush her with an iron ball (like for shot put) that's spiked. The boss fight could be like a deadly version of the Olympics!
If you don't consider this a very good idea, that's because I'm partially joking about it.

That's a very good idea actually, but it means that I will have to design some kind of open-aired area, probably on one of the wings of the castle. Maybe I will put the fitness part in this same wing. It actually made me thought of maybe also use a ghost that would be a little like Jigsaw from Saw fused with a game show presenter. Like, he forces Apple Bloom through a quiz or a game, and if she fails, she dies. A little like a Trivia Murder Party, if you know about it.
