Quick update so you guys know I have not abandoned you or the story, slight spoilers ahead.

I have finished planning an arc with Bedlams character, and am now moving into the last part of the plan for the story which will focus more on Reiver and the ponies around him. We will also get some more with the stallion in the hospital and his relationship with Reiver, although you've probably all figured out who he is by now.

Anyways, just wanted to update you all so you dont worry.

And it's been less than 6 months!

I;ve been trying to do at least 2hrs fanfiction on my days off and it seems to be working. Lets hope I can keep it up. Enjoy the new chapter!

It took a lot of re-writes, but the next chapter of Family is finally done and has been published.

Warning: there are references to darker themes, including suicide. I apologise if this offends anyone, I may need to up the rating in future, but I am hoping not to, as the next chapters will be lighter.

Should have really posted that sooner, but I've been gearing up for a new job which I'm very pleased to have after 6 years of part time retail work. I'll actually have a bit more structure to my life.

The next chapter is coming along despite the long wait. I've got a little more to write and then its onto editing, it's looking like it's not as long as the last one though.

I've been a bit distracted from the story this month, I got the opportunity to try out for a Master builder position at LEGOLAND in Birmingham so I had to do that, I've also been building IKEA furniture and rearranging things at home.

This one took longer than I thought, plus I had a holiday and somewhere along the lin ended up restoring a piece of furniture in between. Thats right, this marks the start of the end phase of Family. Its taken years but I'm pleased with how far Ivew come considering I started with no plan, then made one, then changed it a few times while writing. Either way, I hope you enjoy and, as always, constructive criticism is appreciated.

The penultimate, yes PENULTIMATE chapter of Family is up, I won;t lie, this took some work to draft, write, edit. alter, swap bits around and throughout the whole thing I;ve been plagued with self-doubt.
