So I've talked before about how I'm halfway done with Life in Equestria, but struggling to write the second half. I think I've figured that out a little. This is also a premature new story announcement, for a WWB novel called "Just a Pony".
Hey everybody, I just want to let you know I may be a little quiet for a while (not that I'm especially active or anything, but you know). I live in Florida and currently my family has been tracking Hurricane Ian. Currently it seems to be heading a little south away from where I am (a lot better then before where my city was on a direct collision course with a category 4 storm) but that could change at any time and it won't be a pleasant experience regardless. Well, the end of the year is approaching fast, and despite me still having quite a few projects as works-in-progress right now, and another one shot on the way for this Christmas, I just want to give you some more sneak previews as to what I have cooking up in my brain.
Hey, guys, after finally getting some decent sleep, I went back and reread my previous chapter, and I got to say that I understand why you guys were not happy about it. It wasn't that I didn't foreshadow or anything, its just that it really matched my current mindset too well. On top of that, there were a few things that I wanted to touch on that I never did, because of my scatterbrained, sleep-deprived state.

Are they going to have to rely on the WEAKEST GIMMICK POSSIBLE to fix everything? Sheesh, that would mean they REALLY wrote themselves into a wall!

Look, I know how disappointed and upset people are when they found out about the leaks and how the finale turned out. In fact, I watched the remaining episodes of season 9 and I share the same feelings as them. However, they crossed the line by sending hate mail and death threats to people who worked on the show for years.

Hey, y'all. Just a real quick update to say that "Just a Pony" is on schedule, with chapter one finished! I just need to finish at least up to chapter ten by the end of year (and then edit said chapters) in order to start publishing. Pasu has been commissioned for the new cover and will get to it after this week is over, and I'm waking up my proofreaders to see who's around for editing. All in all things are going great!

So, there's been some crap going around about the show ending after season 9 (holy crap, at least 2 more seasons? Awesome!), and the franchise rebooting again.
As someone who's already been through this kinda thing before- several times- with another Hasbro franchise (cough, Transformers, cough), I have thoughts.
