I've got a thousand or so words written so far. I keep procrastinating which doesn't help, but it will get written. On a related note I will get around to writing the 5th chapter of 'One Step Forwards, A Huge Shove Backwards' as well.

Well, I felt particularly inspired by the season finale, so I'll start this post with a fair warning:

For a while now, something very obvious has seemed to escape the Brony Analysis Community, and it seems to have come to a head with this latest season finale. Toon Krytic Y2K was salty because Starlight Glimmer wasn't punished, and Silver Quill was a bit put out by the Mane Six being so critical to Equestria. Well, that was fun. The macro-plot progresses, best pony returns, and griffins continue to be a thing.
(That said, I have seen a very good point regarding Butch Deadlift Big McLargeHuge Stan Johnson Bulk Biceps: Why is somepony who qualified for the Wonderbolts Academy having so much trouble now? The answer, of course, is the demands of the plot and dramatic tension, but in that case, the story shouldn't explicitly reference the episode with which it conflicts.)
