Because nobody asked for it, here's part THREE of my 'director's commentary' of my fics.
Somewhere Only We Know just had its fourth anniversary and what the actual frickity frack, you guys.
When did that happen? Who allowed this? This story could go to preschool. This story could talk smack to me and draw pictures of itself. People who read this story in high school are in college now. The sands of time grow abrasive. Even now, I feel the claws of Father Time drag across my cheek as I the cold chasms of time whisp--
Ahem.
So, I had a time this year.
Let's start at the beginning. I was in the middle of a gap year in my studies. Basically, I didn't finish a singular math prerequisite fast enough, so I had to wait a full year to get into courses that are only offered in the fall. Two semesters idle, not really moving forward in pursuit of my dream career. I wasn't in the best emotional place a year ago.
I've been putting this off for a while now, but now that the submission period for The Discovery contest is closed, I figure it's high time I did a little chatting about the creative process behind the story and such.
