Welp, I started this spinoff story to the Showing His Place series a couple days ago. Since so many people were willing to help me out after my phone broke, I've been working hard to get this prompt off the ground:
So I visited my cousin yesterday and for some reason he really wanted me to play the new pokemon game, so I spent the 3 hours I was there playing it.
To make a long story short, it was exactly how I imagined it would be.
That is not a good thing...
I should probably make a bullet list of things that I did and how I felt...
But I don't feel like it right now.
But I caught a Wooloo which was cool. Those really are the cutest things ever.
For obvious reasons I meant this to be a Halloween story, but its unexpected complexity and length (it came out to 11,334 words, published in one long chapter because I wanted this to be the sort of story that built up inexorably toward its climax like a dark symphony, but divided into 12 subchapters of varying lengths because I did not want to confront readers with a conceptual wall of text) meant that I could not complete it until around 2:45 pm on the morning of November 1st. Well, do I need to say anything more? It's quite the 'love and or hate' genera.
Looking at you, 'wear puppy' puzzle, from Simon The Sorcerer. 
Anyway, first game in some sort of trilogy I think it is, with the first 'episode' free for a limited time in celebration of the launch of the second part, or some-such. Looks heavily inspired by Red Dwarf and MST3K with a neat 2D, pixel-artish style, so seems worth checking out.
UPDATE: As of this morning, I officially completed Showing His Place: Date Night. The story as a whole is over 100 pages long, and at over 31K words total! This might take a while to upload in its entirety, but I wanna thank everyone who showed their support as I wrote this story.
