HOII I'm being real random this mornin', how're ya'll?
HOII I'm being real random this mornin', how're ya'll?
Sooo, today I decided to become a sponsor.
I have never really done any of that before, but I am quite happy with it. I like this site, and I hope the money will go to maintaining it and making it fun. ^^
I've gotten some nice new friends, and there is a lot of stories, and a place for me to practice. So I think it was worth it.
Hey everyone. I'm making a random test blog for something that I'm planning on doing later so you don't really need to read whatever crazy nonsense my brain decides to write here. You won't find anything of interest and most likely you'll probably just get frustrated that I'm waffling and going off on a tangent about nothing so no need to read it if you don't want to. Just thought that it was worth saying all of that before someone wastes their time reading something that they don't want to
Kind of funny thing, that probably no one than me would care about. My "search statistics" point to a total of 16.011 words to read. My stories got exactly 16.000 words (5k and 11k) as I spend half an hour finding the missing 100 to even the length. Now Iˋm sad that I got no flawless score so far.
...or I shouldnˋt be still awake at 2:45 in the morning, that could also be the reason
I'm literally sitting in an airport waiting to board my flight, which is delayed.
This isn't the first time I've flown alone. The first time was in 2016. It was also the last time I flew.
Simply put, I don't fly often. I keep forgetting that you almost gotta strip for TSA.
So... while reading some other works of fanfiction (not MLP, as I'm presently on a historical fiction kick), I've remembered something that I keep burying/ignoring.
WARNING: the rest of this is my ramblings about my personal family.
I have two ways of writing the fathers of my characters. Either they are absent/negligent (only occasionally are they outright abusive in any way)... or they are amazing paragons of paternal virtue.
King Sombra is the main “protagonist” of the fictional film franchise, King Sombra’s Fantastic Movie. He is an anthropomorphic gray unicorn who originally appeared in the cartoon show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
Appearance:
“You there. Is that story being written in a second person POV?”
“Yeah, I’m having the reader be a young mare who lives in Manehattan.”
“Well, stop it! The majority of the reading and writing community are males, so we want to give them something they’d actually read. And I’m pretty sure no one wants to read a story where they are the opposite gender.”
“...Oh... okay...”
WARNING: physical and sexual abuse and self-harm
The One-Sentence Summary
The Substance
Urgent news, everybody! Splash was walking by, and a hot girl called him Spongebob!
Is this an act of flirt or an insult?
We shall never know.
Though it probably was an act of flirt.
In your dreams, bruh
Aww...isn't he CUTE?!? All bouncie, bouncie down those stairs as a colt! Mebbe that's why he loves stairs so much.
I was gonna post this tomorrow but since I'm heading to bed soon I might as well leave this open for the night and answer whatever is posted tomorrow. Ask me anything, be it myself, my stories, or whatnot.
Technically, I wanted to get her commissioned from one of the big bat pony artists like MoonSugarStars, but seeing as many of them need reference images...I finally got up my courage and drew a pony for the first time. It actually didn't turn out quite so bad as I thought it would.
This may become a recurring thing depending on its reception, but it's just a few humorous things I've noticed over the years. Keep in mind I've only seen the first six episodes of the new Season so far (can't seem to get the parents out of the house for long enough) so there may be some things that have already happened.
Anyway, top five, go!
5. "An ancient evil has returned. You know the one, you learned about it in history class. Yes, that one. Phew, that saves me a lot of time."
Well, here we are. One new chapter, one new lesson. I learned close to its completion that it would be practically impossible for me to fit all of what I want into a single chapter. I've learned something important from several movie mistakes: too much in a single entry makes for a sloppy and unfulfilling product. See most Harry Potter movies and, my personal favorite example, Captain America: Civil War. I read Marvel's Civil War arc and I really hated cramming the whole damn
I've added the three stories that I wrote in the Writeoff this year to my scraps collection, Relics. If you're interested in reading any of them directly, here are the chapter links:
- After the Game
- Ode to Change
- With Apologies to Nonagon
Enjoy. Or not.
