Just a snippet from my scrap pile. This was going to be Lapis' identity crisis for The Griffon, Brushed Off, but I decided to go for the "I-shouldn't-be-here-much-longer-right?" debate instead. Might go in a later chapter - until then, enjoy!
Just an idea I wanted to share because I can't really figure what to do with it. Season 8 finale spoilers for those who care and still haven't seen it.
This thing dates back to July 28, 2018 as the last time it was ever edited. It would sit around collecting dust until June of this year, when I'd ultimately toss out everything I'd written and start over from scratch.
The story below is how it appears directly copied from the Microsoft Word document. Though, for some reason, doing that also seems to place some scattered links to making a new blog post for some reason. Either way, I'm just gonna post this thing verbatim.
Another batch of excerpts from my scrap bin, but this time, it's three of them at once. Next chapter should be coming by this weekend, if not sooner - hopefully this'll provide some insight into what I'm trying to trim out!
What's up, anyone that still follows me. I was digging through my google docs recently to clean some stuff out, and I stumbled upon a bunch of old working documents. Since my writing days (for MLP at least) are pretty much behind me, I figured I'd make them available for anyone who cares enough to look at my outlines and writing process. I'll just post them as I come across them!

Alright folks, we're in uncharted territory now. This story idea didn't even have a name when I stopped really adding to it. It's not even a fully coherent plot, the middle part, of course, being the sticking point for me. Initially I wasn't sure if it was too big for one story and needed to be split into two or not.
My recent Flashlight dating horror fic is not popular. 
This is not a surprise, given both the Flashlight hate on Fimfiction and the portrayal of Twilight as a naive, lovesick puppy. But does that really account for the lion's share of its criticism?

It's me!
Okay okay, nobody cares. But anyway I'm back! And I have good news and bad news.
The good news is that the 3rd chapter of "Always" is 85% done and that means that it will be out before you know it. I don't want to set a release date cause I'm bad with those sort of things, but it will be out eventually it's not cancelled or on hiatus.
I thought I would let you all know that the next update will probably be rather late. It's not because of a lack of motivation, that's there. It's not because of a lack of material to work with. Badninja made sure I had plenty to finish off the poison joke Arc with. It's not even becaus eI lack the time. I have that.
This blog post was almost an announcement for my going on hiatus, given how the next few months to a year look like they'll be playing out. Almost.
To continue on with AJUO: Apocalyptica, I do have to admit this is where the idea as a whole started to get "fuzzy" if you will. I'd mentally charted out most everything up until this point in time, but when it comes to the middle of my stories everything goes up in the air in terms of what I definitively want. I start strong and end strong with ideas; I know where I am, and where I want to end up, but finding the route in the middle is the hardest part. With that said, let's continue.
This is a scrapped rewrite of the section of the chapter I was working on that got partially wiped because I was being smol brain and didn't save before turning off my tablet. I rewrote it a second time in a way that I preferred over this version, so I'ma post the scrapped content here.

Alright, this blog post is well overdue. And unfortunately, I mostly have bad news.
First of all, no, I'm not dead. I'm not cancelling Unusual Lives, or it's origin spin off. The latest delay was partially due to taking an extended break over the holidays to catch up with family, and partially because everyone's favorite nemesis has decided to pay me another visit. I thought I'd be over it before the end of January, but here we are. Stupid writer's block...
I alluded, in my RCL interview, to an unpublished/discarded concept for another story in the Conquer trilogy. A direct continuation of You Too Will Deteriorate, taking place in the ruined Equestria.
Well here it is: Welcome Home. I may be tempting fate by posting it publicly, since I have succumbed to peer pressure in the past and revived things I stuck in my scraps collection.
I think this is going to be the last of what I share from this project's leftovers; of the two iterations of the scene that follows what I posted last time, I think this one stands on its own better, has fewer spoilers (but I still can't post the whole thing), and, despite what I thought last night when I only glanced at it, actually does contain Trixie.
