Votes are in! · 3:20pm Aug 31st, 2016
I was totally only expecting like, three or four votes, max. Way to blow it out of the water, you guys! Looks like I know what's getting my attention.
Time for some airship action.
Stay classy.

Nickelodeon has a new show out, something called the Loud House. If I'm to believe various sources, this cartoon about the only 11-year old boy in a house full of 11 kids is apparently a favourite of a fellow FIMFiction user and has become Nickelodeon's biggest runaway new hit since SpongeBob SquarePants.
So I was messing around in General Zoi's Pony Creator and grumbling at the lack of options available for customizing myself when I remembered something important.
"Derp, I forgot. I'm an artist! I can draw whatever I want!"
So, after about an hour of relearning Photoshop...

That in Equestria, MLP is just a show to the ponies as well.
I find it funny to imagine that the actresses for each character are vastly different from the ones they portay.
This is only for those who have managed to get acquainted with Fallout: Equestria. If anyone knows (and possibly remembers) that Project Horizons was I believe the first book to reach over a million words, now we have yet another Fo:E fic that has managed to exceed one million words total.
Have a tiny excerpt:
Nightmare Moon stood in the crossroads, regal and horrific in equal measure. Wings draped around the mare like a cloak, the long primary feathers fading to nothing before touching the dirt that embraced Chrysalis. Hooves armored in cobalt plating hovered just off the soil, not so much as a shadow of the Mare in the Moon even touched the ground, but her gaze weighed heavily on Chrysalis.
I don't know if I'm going to do a milestone or anything for the event, but I do know that I'm hype for it. I thought the story would be closer to ending by now, but shit just doesn't seem to be slowing down all that much as I write. Maybe it'll close sometime in the Seventies, but for now, it's not looking like it's ending before we hit another 500k words. It'll be nice to have A Thief's Tale done, but I don't know. I've enjoyed the journey to get to this point so much, I might just
Hello my friends! Your friendly neighborhood Hat Man here once again with another short batch of reviews!
Man, I haven't done this since Scribblefest, but I enjoyed doing it before and have been meaning to get back into it. So, without further ado, here are three stories I've read recently that I thought I'd share my thoughts on. Ready? Here we go!
[WARNING: A lot of these are random facts about the series that you might not necessarily care about. This post also contains spoilers for the entire series, and I'll separate the facts into the acts they correspond in order to keep people from encountering spoilers.]
ACT I:
A blogpost I've been meaning to do for a long, long time.
im in a poetry competition beginning of next year so im trying to narrow down a list of poems from 27 to 5 (i have to have my top 5 decided by tomorrow) so if anyone is bored and wants to watch me talk for a couple hours i can start a hangouts call
Okay, so first things first. That extra chapter for Chaos Talk I mentioned a while back? Canceled entirely. There are two reasons for this, the first being I just can't think up enough ideas for a second chapter, and two, sometimes you shouldn't mess with what works. However, to make up for that, I do have another one-shot idea in the works, and it stars a modern day Equestrian version of Going Deep Under's Grape Vine and, wait for it...
As many of you know, life finally ganged up on Chris over at One Man's Pony Ramblings. Which means he has to start taking it seriously and not fighting with one hand behind his back and his attention split between it and ponies. Or something along those lines. Look, I come up with a cool metaphor and use it the next time I need one. Even if it's a terrible fit.
On this day, precisely one year ago, Songs of the Spheres was published on fimficiton. There wasn't much hubbub. The people who read it were generally the people who were part of its creation in some way or other. But slowly, we grew, larger and larger... And today, Songs of the Spheres can be said to be a success.
And we aren't even half done!
Copied from the comment I left on Dr Wolf's review of Princess Spike:
So, I've decided to start doing probably weekly blogs to give an update, keep myself accountable to those who read my stories, etc. Keep in mind that I work AND attend college, so don't expect new episodes that often.
ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
First off, to echo my note at the end of Episode 69:
Yay! A year ago, I started releasing this story! It went from a rushed, small story, to a much large piece of work. So, a few updates I want to add.
Yep, you read right! A double fic review! No crime in any city, but a double fic review nonetheless. Let's get cracking, shall we? More after the break.
