Okay, so first things first. That extra chapter for Chaos Talk I mentioned a while back? Canceled entirely. There are two reasons for this, the first being I just can't think up enough ideas for a second chapter, and two, sometimes you shouldn't mess with what works. However, to make up for that, I do have another one-shot idea in the works, and it stars a modern day Equestrian version of Going Deep Under's Grape Vine and, wait for it...
Yep, Gilda. Odd choice I know. But I've always secretly wanted to write Gilda, and so this will be an experimental fic for me for that and another reason you'll just have to wait and find out when the story's released. To be honest, I'm actually rather nervous with the second thing I'm experimenting with in my fic, but sometimes if you're going to make an omelet, gotta break a few eggs. Okay, bad metaphor there I know, but you get the point. Anyways, here's the synopsis.
Grape Vine, traveling musician from the Appleloosan Plains just so happens to have a pen pal. A griffin pen pal at that. A pen pal named Gilda, who's now moved to the now free of Starlight's tyranny Our Town. Yeah, that Gilda. The one who made Fluttershy cry and the one who almost grabbed the lost idea of King Boroas? Yep, that is the exact one. Thing is, they actually get along surprisingly rather well. Two very unlikely friends if there ever were. Thing is, Gilda has a secret, one she's not likely to divulge, especially considering what her newfound friends in Our Town, not to mention Grape Vine himself would think of it, considering how... taboo it is to many. But, who knows? Maybe Grape Vine isn't likely to laugh at her after all. After all, as he himself puts it... "He's seen weirder. Much weirder."

Thanks guys, the problem is, I'm actually a bit scared of what people will think of me after I write this story, considering how disliked the topic actually is not just in Equestria, but on here as well. This honestly may very well be the craziest or stupidest thing I've ever done.

Will reading Going Deep Under be required to understand this one-shot? I love Gilda! Aside from Fluttershy, she's my favorite character.

4342434 Well, Going Deep Under might be required if you want to understand Grape's basic character (Neurotic, sarcastic, deadpan, loves music, not very brave) and as for the topic itself, I'm... hesitant to discuss in fear of embarrassment.
