Dolly and Good News · 6:49pm Sep 5th, 2015
I've just gotta say, this is really good news.
Tomorrow, we're going to see Dolly
And I'm just kinda like because ohhhhh my gosh, I'm going to see Dolly!
And my dad's coming home this evening!

wat.
Sunset Shimmer, canonically, has a drivers' license. This is from the Driving Miss Shimmer EQG short available on the Discovery app.(which I don't have or a link to a version online, sadly.)
I've spent an hour now trying to write about Barthes.
It is five in the morning, and I have tried very hard to write about Barthes.
Holidays and really random life has made the "fourteen days between updates" be kind of untenable so I'm going to the whenever its out and I feel at least like I touched on everything I wanted to model. This might make some updates rarer but this is kind of an arc end chapter for example. I feel getting the right balance of life and this takes precedence first and also this already had a lot of things running around in my head.
I've been writing a little more than usual recently. Also, Torn Like Cotton now has a simple cover art. Nothing too special, just something I quickly made on the fly. At least it makes for a decent placeholder.
It's one of the greatest months to grace the year! OCTOBER! Full of fallen leaves, beautiful warm colors to contrast the cold, and the upcoming childish holiday we all (or, most of us, anyway) love: Halloween. Also known as All Hallow's Eve or Nightmare Night, and some even relating it to Día de los Muertos or Samhain (pronounced Sow-win). However you celebrate it, whether it be through movies, stories, trick'r'treating, reverence, fear, celebration, or you just stay home and bypass the holiday
Have a cute pony pic first. I don't want to be a complete Debbie Downer.
That out of the way, let's REAL TALK for a minute.
It's complete!
It took almost a whole year, but A Game of Kings and Pretty Pony Princesses is complete! Check out the last chapter:
And I'm working on two different stories! So that's good. One is more of the same kind of silliness as the last one I wrote, and the other... is a surprise! However, it DOES involve humans... and so far, not a trace of mane pones. We'll see if that lasts, but that's what is in the plans for now!
Costume!
I wanted to do this whole blog thing in chronological order, but there was so much to say about making the costume I did, which I’m sure is quite the minority interest to people here mostly to hear of Aragon’s antics, that I thought it’d be better in a separate section.
So, on July 2nd, I started ordering costume stuff.
It's midnight, let's write a frickin' blog post. (falls backwards in chair)
So...
I haven't been publishing. But I haven't given up! It just... takes me a while sometimes to get to a place in my life where I can get my thoughts together for this kind of creative work.
At least I have a lot more time to myself due to finally dropping my writer job.Of course, I do still beat myself up about not being able to write like I used to.
Thank you so much to the people coming out here today! We have many new surprises today that I hope you all will enjoy! For starters, today is the official release date for the much awaited,
NOTEWORTHY
A RealityPublishing Original
You can the first two chapters (pilot) below!
Yeah, I hate to do this, everyone. I am working on the chapter, and progress has been made, but a certain medical condition of mine reared its ugly head and thoroughly ruined my ability to concentrate on writing earlier this week, and while I feel better now, it's also a very busy time at work, and I don't think I can concentrate on both this fanfic and my students at the same time. So, since people pay me to teach and not to write about adorable robot ponies, I'm afraid I'm
It is because it's not really about anything specifically besides two horses in a cardboard box?
Do you like seeing Celestia in a more casual manner?
It is because it's two characters having unusual conversations with no general purpose?
Well if any of those reasons is the reason you like Home is for the Weak, take a look at this one.
I enjoyed this fic, and I have a feeling a lot of you would too.
The TCB story revolves around a central theme, "Don't Put Your Dick In Crazy."
Remember that.
My job, as the author, is to convince you otherwise. And if you do. Even for a second. Ha!
Seven.
I have seven stories vying for my attention right now, begging to be written. Five are already in progress, and the the other two have been planned for a long time but have yet to be started.
So, yeah. Merry Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, whatever have you.
I have news for you!
My brother got Titanfall 2 in his stocking, so that's a story in the pipeline.
Plus, as per your advice, Clockwork will be given live as a story as well. (Check out the blog called I need advice to see more about Clockwork.)
Now, here's some Sword Art Online news.
