    So I'm watching the premiere

No, I haven't watched season 8. Yes, I am watching because Chrysalis, Tirek, and Sombra are back. Also, why was an eight year old in Tartarus, who made that decision?

    Making It Official

I haven't been active on the site for over a year. I have occasionally checked in to see how everyone was doing, but I've barely gotten any writing done here. I know I left on a hiatus last year and said I might come back to the site one day, but that's looking less likely with every passing day.

So, I'm making it official; I'm leaving.

Story Idea and Suggestions for Halloween/Nightmare Night? · 5:10am Oct 12th, 2015

Estranged

Discord is a draconequus, a creature that has not been understood for centuries and may continue not to be understood for as long as ponies, griffons, or any being whatsoever roams this Earth. But, one fateful day, it's accidentally revealed by Discord that there are more members of this unknown species, some of which roaming in Equestria at the very moment.

Only problem is, Discord doesn't really get along with the lot of them because they're his family.

There's Eris, Discord's older sister, who only berates her younger brothers and is held in high regards by their parents for her natural abilities to make worlds and create new things.

Then, there's Accord, Discord's twin brother, who doesn't wish to cause chaos or anything of the sort. He's the black sheep of the family, and roams Equestria as a pony trying to make an honest living.

Finally, there's Anarchy, the troublemaker who starts up revolts in every dimension they encounter.

Suddenly, the Elements wish that they didn't butt into Discord's family business...

I always wondered about Dizzy's family and I'm just writing this down so I don't forget it. Also, I really like the idea of Accord, who absolutely obsesses over order. This idea came from an old post I made a long time back, and I just wanted to explore how fun it would be to see Discord encounter someone who is ADAMANT on order.

(Not to mention I kinda like the idea of Accord convincing Starlight to make everyone equal to maintain harmony because sometimes being well-meaning ends up causing evil to take place, but shh, I'll talk about that some other time)

But, to address the other thing I put up on that title, I kinda need suggestions for Nightmare Night/Halloween because, for the first time in forever, I have come across a conundrum that has haunted me once before:

I have no clue what I wanna be for Halloween.

I mean... I have ideas. Here, let me put down what I have:

-Poison Ivy from DC. My bestie is gonna be the Suicide Squad version of Harley Quinn and I kinda wanna match her costume, but I'm unsure of how I should go about doing the costume since Ivy is very provocative and I'm... not. :twilightsheepish:
-Gothic Twilight Sparkle. I have a black, straight wig with bangs and some colored extensions that matched the stripes in her mane, but I'm unsure of going through with it because I don't think anyone will get it if I don't explain it.
-Queen Elsa. Wouldn't be hard to do since I already have a dress for it, and after a few alterations and a blonde wig, I could easily be Elsa. Problem is, I'm not 100% on it, so it's kinda on a back burner for now.
-Pinkie Pie. I have a pink wig, but it's currently being detangled and going seriously hair reparation. Besides, all my pink stuff is in different shades and look kinda weird together. Plus, I'm not sure other people will get if I don't explain it.
-Wonder Woman from DC. I got a top, but it's big on me and has to be tightened up a lot because it's for adults, so it's really uncomfortable to wear. Besides, last time I wore the costume, it was just pale blue boyshorts with felt stars glued on being worn over red and black tights with black boots, so it didn't even look a lick accurate.
-Batgirl from DC. I don't have a mask, but I have a shirt with an insignia and black clothing, but I also have a black dress that looks like her costume. Still don't think it would look good, though...
-Jason from Friday the 13th. I don't know if I can go through with being so terrifying though...

OK, if you wanna know why I'm being so critical over my costumes when I have some things to work with, let me show y'all things from years past:

My take on Castiel from Supernatural for a costume party, where I acted in character for the night.

Last year's Halloween costume, where I played Hipster!Ariel. They're not called forks, they're called dinglehoppers, you swines.

Our school asked students to dress up as their favorite movie character, and as usual, I went above and beyond with the dress up portion. I scared the hell out of everyone and got a bunch of high fives, too.

First time as Wonder Woman, and her costume still needs work, but I thought I looked hella at the time.

At the renaissance festival with my family as Queen Elsa. Yes, I'm wearing a rainbow crown, so don't ask. ("TURN AWAY AND SLAM THE CLOSET DOOR..." Wait, what do you mean those aren't the lyrics?)

An evil Queen outfit for my choir formal last school year. That hoopskirt bumped into more stuff than I would like to admit.

When asked to dress up as rockers for our rock show freshman year, I asked if old school rocker was a viable option for looks. When approved, this happened.

I even dressed up as my BROTHER on one occasion. Well, this isn't the only time I've done that, but that's not important.

One of my favorite costumes for Halloween definitely has to involve my Carrie costume, in honor of the new take on it and Sissy Spacek's performance. I scared the absolute hell out of everyone, especially adults who had seen the first movie's premiere.

I just... really like dressing up, OK? Problem is, I don't know what I wanna be for sure. Like, do you know you want to do something really bad, but you don't even know what it is yet? It's like a word being on the tip of your tongue, and you can't seem to figure out what it is yet. I just wish I knew what I wanna be 'cause I'm scared that I'm growing out of my favorite holiday of the year.

My treat for Halloween is a slushy; 52oz.:pinkiecrazy: Also, I'm gonna watch all of the monster movies I've got. If you've got any monster movies, now's the time to watch them.

Last year, my mom and I watched through the entire section on Netflix that was dedicated to serial killers. I have fears about Ted Bundy coming to get me to this day.

Wow, you're really good at dressing up. Those are some pretty good costumes. Love the makeup detail for some of them. And those dinglehoppers. But I have to ask, have you ever seen a snarfblatt? :rainbowderp:

Bundy's a scary dude.

3463925 Good thing he's dead, though.

...I HATE that I had to google what that was. The answer is yes.

3463935

Mwahahahahaha! :pinkiecrazy:

Charmony, the answer seems pretty obvious to me.

Happy Goth Pinkie Pie.

Harmony, that's a silly question.
Be all of them at once!

That's a very interesting story idea, and your previous costumes were great!
