It took almost a whole year, but A Game of Kings and Pretty Pony Princesses is complete! Check out the last chapter:

Here’s the plot:
A Game of Kings and Pretty Pony Princesses
It is the year 200X. Doctor Mario built a bunch of rodent masters, but Ganondorf kidnapped and reprogrammed them. Armed with a whip, Twilight Sparkle must do barrel rolls, fight her way through six castles, and use the rodents’ powers against themselves in order to rescue Princess Celestia.

This has been sitting a few weeks on my RIL list. Now that it is complete, I am looking forward to reading it! It certainly has piqued my interest and now I do not have to worry about an interesting fic evaporating 2/3rds the way through.

Oh trust me.
I had every intent on finishing this. I've been treating this story like it's my baby and did everything I could to make it grow up into a wonderful story that went to college and make six digits a year, and I'll be damned if I let it become a lazy, good-for-nothing, lie-about, no-good.... HHHHHNNNNG!
