It's one of the greatest months to grace the year! OCTOBER! Full of fallen leaves, beautiful warm colors to contrast the cold, and the upcoming childish holiday we all (or, most of us, anyway) love: Halloween. Also known as All Hallow's Eve or Nightmare Night, and some even relating it to Día de los Muertos or Samhain (pronounced Sow-win). However you celebrate it, whether it be through movies, stories, trick'r'treating, reverence, fear, celebration, or you just stay home and bypass the holiday entirely with a cup of your favorite hot beverage, may the season of scares treat you well!
Well wishing aside, I've been bopping back and forth between wanting to write and not wanting to write, and with the hour of hauntings upon us all, I figure I should try to get at least SOMETHING done. At least I have a couple of new ideas for Apparition Amphitheater. One in particular is going to be exceptionally gruesome. I also have an AU horror story idea about Shining Armour based on a certain CoF album about a certain French nobleman, but I been having bouts of cold feet over it due to the extreme subject matter it would demand, altered or not. I also have the spin-off story based on my friend Joey's "Pony May Cry" to work on, but I should probably dive into more reference material before I continue it.
Lastly, I've been slowly poking away at my original project. Lots of notes, and an idea on how it will all end, but very little progress on the first real chapter. Mostly because I'm a bit stuck on how to describe the kingdom setting and environs surrounding it. I'll figure it out eventually.
Anyway, here's hoping I'll catch some of you in the comments within these upcoming weeks.
