I'm close to finished. I intend to have it draft complete tonight, meaning release should follow in the next couple days, once prereaders have their say and I do my customary couple editing passes, which I do by listening to it recited back to me with the site's voice narration feature. You'd be surprised how many issues you catch and fix by doing that, from missing and misspelled words to just questions of word choice and sentence flow.
And the wonder, of it all, is that you just don't realize... how much I love you.

Okay, another of these ones before releasing the next chapter. As in the last one, I'll take the two more controversial elements from the last chapter and give my own two cents on the matter. Since these are editorials, they're written from a subjective point of view, all under only my hand without consulting the cor-writer, ngihtwalker. So, due to its nature, the editorial section is not intended to be taken as word of god, but more of a thought and debate exercise.
This one is going to be in a slightly different format. You see, the previous fics that I blogged about, "Back to School" and "Don't Come Close", were taken from my unpublished queue on fimfic, but this story is actually from my drive/gdocs.

Hi everybody. So... chapter 15 has not gone over very well, to say the least. I get it. I made a mistake, and my plans haven't panned out the way I'd hoped. sigh
Chapter 12 is live and boy howdy is it a long one! I broke my goal of keeping it around 5K. I know I could've cut the chapter early after the first line break, but I didn't have the heart to leave on a cliffhanger after last time. For those of you who like longer chapters, I hope this makes up for nothing last week! For those of you who don't like more horsewords per week, my sanity thanks you, but also you're reading an evolving long-fic. I question your judgement.
