Next Midnight Rising Chapter will be released soon · 5:54pm Dec 15th, 2020
I'm close to finished. I intend to have it draft complete tonight, meaning release should follow in the next couple days, once prereaders have their say and I do my customary couple editing passes, which I do by listening to it recited back to me with the site's voice narration feature. You'd be surprised how many issues you catch and fix by doing that, from missing and misspelled words to just questions of word choice and sentence flow.
As promised, it's the Fleur De Lis chapter, though it's as much a continuation of the action in the last chapter as picking up with Fleur. Her scene was kind of abbreviated last time, but it's much more extended now as you find out what not only Midnight, but the rest of Crystal Prep thinks of her and why. In addition, you'll get plenty of bonus action from the CHS side, including a peek in on our Principals and Dean. Some reader requests have been made regarding them, and as enjoy fanservice, I'll do my best to deliver them in coming chapters if not here.
I said last blog that I would put Midnight Rising on hold after this. And I will, shifting over to Firefly. We'll have to see if I still feel that way in two weeks, as I just received my latest testosterone infusion (implanted pellets). It typically takes a couple weeks to fully kick in, at which point... yeah.
In the meantime, hope you like the new chapter and thanks for all the comments on the last blog. If I hear back from Demon Eyes Laharl regarding taking over Feathered Heart, you'll be the first folks to know.
