Sure, it was largely a predictable rehash of Episode IV full of plot contrivances (Why doesn't the Empire ever build security cameras into their death machines?) but I honestly don't even care that much because fucking Star Wars is back!
Oh and the music was amazing as always. Soooo much yummy french horn!
Gonna be a hiatus for a bit on my two stories (more so for Altered Visage). Details after the page break.
Let's say that your friend ran someone over with her car while driving drunk. Now, she has to face the consequences, that will most likely ruin her life, but you have the authority to save her from the punishment.
Knowing that using your power in the given situation would be 100% unethical – would you do it anyway?
That's the question Twilight will have to ask herself in the latest chapter:

Short stories are easy. Plus when you write them for someone in a chat it makes it even easier. So easy.
Thus there's another new story coming up that's short (before you complain: shut up, I'm busy, long stories take a long time).

You can try running away from the problems you caused, but you'll end up running in circles. Sooner or later, you'll make a mistake and fall back down to the same hole you were trying to escape from, only the hole's grown deeper. Your only chance is to turn around and face it. John's about to find out that in Equestria: no good deed goes unpunished, and human life is cheap.
In other words, the hiatus is over and it's time for the next chapter:

John Carpenter's iconic 1978 masterpiece remains a wonderful example of not only prime example of the slasher film genre, but also the film that, more then any other, reinvented the horror genre, codifying and building the dozens of tropes that would come to define all subdivisions of horror and thrillers.
She deserved more screentime.
I'll have a review up for Friendship Games soon.
Apple Bloom learned the truth and is thinking about what do next. It's all seems clear - John's a would-be murder of her sister, and it was his actions that had pushed Applejack to the edge of insanity. It all makes perfect sense...
But then, why does it all feel like a bad case of déjà vu at the same time? And why does it reminds her of the family?
