It's a tough decision...
I watched 300 and 300: Rise of an Empire with Firesight to celebrate A Gentleman's Price and Fertile Ground, both written in 2015, for both hitting this milestone. AGP got it about a week ago with FG hitting today on Halloween of 2020. I'm proud of both of them and consider them major achievements and worth people reading to this day, even if both are radically different in tone.
The next chapter of Nightmare Night now stands at 6500 words, with four completed sections and two half-finished ones. The latter, to little surprise, are the CMC scenes. They were coming along agonizingly slowly until I found the proper angle for them. Like Rarity, they needed proper treatment that respected their characters and even let them shine. Is that possible here? Based on what I came up with, yes! But no spoilers there.
This story was a bit of an experiment, but it eventually dabbled deep into descriptive SoL territory and I really don’t mind it.
I’m a huge fan of The Beatles, it’s a simple, basic band to be a fan of, but I do genuinely enjoy their music. Aside from the incredible production, I’ve always been a fan of their lyrics. They all wrote good lyrics at some point, but I always found John’s the most interesting.

I'd just about given up for a good year now. Didn't really have anything else to say about ponies with all the game-changing stuff happening in the world. Thought about just cancelling all my stories and leaving the task of writing to the many far, far more popular writers on the site. It was boring, sure. I was giving up like a complete failure, true. But as Western civilization declines around me, it's tempting, very tempting, to just follow the example of the rest of Europe and North
So, recently I've been redoing some of my old maps for "The Song of the Spheres," and between them and my worldbuilding notes I've run into a bit of a problem: a lot of them don't make sense.
- Big honkin' gaps in borders with traditional enemies? I'm sure nothing bad ever happened with that!
- My poor, smooth, Euro-centric brain decided to go with semi-feudalism for Homestria's history instead of what it should be (psuedo-Confucism with "Harmony" instead of "The Mandate of Heaven").
