It's Day 5 of the Newbie Artist Training Grounds XI, with the prompt Draw a pony making a friend / Draw a pony patching things up! For today, I drew Ruby Pinch with her two cockroach friends Atra and Chloro from my story "Pinkie Pie's Hearth's Warming Vacation". Ruby came out more creepy than unkempt and smelly, which wasn't the intent, but this is about how I imagine her look in the story before Limestone is being violently forced to give her a bath.
I'm probably the only one in the fandom who has cockroach OCs.^^
This is only the second time that I drew an illustration for one of my ponyfics. I want to draw a lot of art for my ponyfics one day, including my own cover art, so I'm glad that today's prompt gave me an opportunity to draw Ruby with her pet cockroaches from the story.^^
