If anything, given the send off they give Pinkie, I think they apprenticed her off so she could live out her role early because they were so excited for her.
And her overly peppy act, hiding her sadness and other emotions, is her poor understanding of trying to live up to her Cutie Mark.

Hello to all the new followers and any old ones that are still around!
I have loosely plotted out the next two Acts of The Great and Powerful Marecock so expect those within the next two weeks (by next Friday for Act II, and the following Friday for Act III... that's a safe bet). It will be a slow-ish burn. I'm thinking five Acts in total, but that could change.
And would you look at that, the story from last week continues this week.
Would have preferred to put them in separate stories for individual descriptions, but this should work fine.
It still means we have a tonne of filthy stuff to follow up from last week, the flood will flow from the cauldron~.

If you've been following me then you've probably noticed that today I published the last chapter of The Opening Act. In fact, chances are that you found this blog post through the Author's Note of that chapter. In any case, the way that chapter ends is the way I felt that story needed to end. However, it is only the beginning of what I had planned, the opening act, if you will.
Starting work on my next story today and I just have to clarify: I’m not just gonna write things about Ponka, I swearrrrr! I mean, she is one of the best ponies and I love her to pieces and I want to write about her non-stop but guys, I swear I’m not a simp. Okay? Got that?
Fast and furious is how I have been updating and posting. Somehow I have maintained the every other day schedule to get TFI finished, and after today’s chapter, there are only three more to go!

From one winter holidays vacation to one sickness later, it's time to continue Horse Sports Commentary. I also made a few minor revisions to the first chapter, [Derpy vs. Fluttershy] - Ponyville's 4th Annual Staring Contest Finals. Along with adding the second chapter,
Scroll #9 has in fact, been delayed (and for good reason). I got a little side-tracked on another book series that falls in line with this one. The two began to conflict with one another and let's just say I'm having trouble connecting the two. Scroll #9 will potentially be done by the end of March, if not, then it'll be released sooner. Sorry about that.
