Fair warning, this story doesn't have the CMC in it, but it is about mountain climbing.

Alright, let's try and finish this up shall we?
In Equestria, Twilight is rallying the rest of the Flipped Six. After overhearing CH!Spike's talk with Sunset and seeing him break the mirror she's determined not let a situation like the changeling invasion play out again. Naturally the others are a bit confused over what's going on, Thunderlane asking why she's waking them up before sunrise and Ditzy wondering why they're having breakfast so late.
There was a moment, after I hit publish on the story, that I thought about writing some notes on it. But I realized that it would be inappropriate—it may influence the judges’ decision, after all, and obviously for a contest that would be most unfair. Now that the contest is over and the winners have been announced, I feel that it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to talk a little about this
A Jinglemas fic for Comma Typer
Every now and then you come across a list of weird laws. And some of them are weird, like that you can't tie an alligator to a fire hydrant in Detroit.
Of course, without looking up the relevant statute, I don't know if it's legal to tie any animal to a fire hydrant in Detroit. Dogs might also be prohibited, along with cats, pigs, horses, cows, snakes, stegosauruses (or is that stegosauri?). . .
Sorry for the delay.
The chapter titles below that point would give a bit too much away, I think.
I have things pretty solidly planned out, and I'm writing again. There will be 15 chapters total, and I expect it will end up about 50-60 thousand words.
Seven-month hiatus is over!
To Be The King chapter 3 is up.
Sadly, I didn't write this in time to submit it to Twilight's Library before that group imploded recently. With this update, I'd have pushed it over 10k and been able to submit it as a long fic.
As much as a blog post can be live, anyways.
Not gonna be so many pictures this time around, 'cause it's kind of a pain on my laptop. Plus, the hotel WiFi isn't great. I don't want to pay extra for the fast internet, so I'm getting the two tin cans and a string internet. I'll write a follow-up blog later on, maybe after the convention is over. Probably Tuesday, or maybe Wednesday.
As is tradition with many of the other stories written by Admiral Biscuit and a few others within the 'Not-A-Contest' genre, I decided to have this blog detail a few notes for how exactly this story came to be so far as well as some of the characters in it. So without further ado, let's get started.
First off, a huge thanks to my pre-readers: metallusionismagic, MSPiper, theRedBrony, ROBCakeran53,
and AShadowOfCygnus.
Do you know how hard it is to find a picture of an earth pony stallion galloping? Nearly impossible.
Of course, I say that, and y'all will link me to hundreds.
I think I've mentioned it before, but one of the developmentally disabled adults that I work with conflates Thanksgiving and Christmas into "Misgiving."
Story Notes: Spring comes to Snow Hill (Blog 2 of 3)
First off, a big thanks to my pre-readers! MSPiper, AShadowOfCygnus, and metallusionismagic!
So this one was written for Quills and Sofas fic contest a little while back. A week or two.
There were three prompt words, and you had to use two of them. The three words were accidental, denied, and intertwined.
Since I’m an overachiever, I naturally used all three.
Okay, I got to start this with saying that you should not take Ivermectin or any other medicine unless directed to do so by a licenced doctor. Just because you heard about it on TV or the internet doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
It wouldn’t be a proper con without at least one fic inspired by the con, now would it?
So, I have a bit more than usual to comment on this time, so I’m gonna do a notes blog like Admiral Biscuit.
For sportsball fans, today is one of the biggest days of the year: Super Bowl Sunday! A chance to hang out with friends and watch the big game, and of course the commercials.
I figured I ought to do something to memorialize the occasion, so here we go!
