Oh, I've been so excited for this!
This has been part of the project, and we've been working tirelessly on it! Eighteen original stories from old timers like me, Vivid, Somber, Admiral Biscuit, and new blood like SmilesPerHour, JaniceTheLight, and Snowday! So many people worked so hard on this, and I am so excited for it to get in ya'll's hands.
I was looking for a draft I started for an upcoming part of an anthology. 'Cause I was really worried I accidentally lost a typed draft from four-ish years ago. It turns out I never typed it. I have a partially written draft from '19 along with two complete short stories I'd forgotten about. One of them was quite good and needed some light editing. Since I had a complete story on my hands, I typed it up, and because it's so old and relatively insignificant here's another story. Four stories,
Not a Brit, but I always found the idea of Bonfire Nite interesting, so I like to at least acknowledge it on the day of.
Anyway, not too much to really report on my end. Writing has become a bit staggered lately (due to lack of motivation as a result of recent reader turnout), but I am going to try to get SOMETHING more substantial done by the end of the year. Maybe I'll actually start the "Elements" sequel? I dunno, really...

Because of the car situation of the previous blog and my punishment for doing everything last minute and not checking the details, I'm sitting on a bench next to a random parking lot in the middle of la where flixbus does their pickups and drop offs with a 5-hour layover until 6:00 a.m. at least shortened 50 minutes thanks to cops shutting down the 101 freeway in the middle of the East LA interchange for some reason so we sat in standstill traffic for half an hour and then the driver backed the

Tonight, I went to a Chinese restaurant.
The lady behind the front counter was white.
Our waiter was Arab-American; the other was Hispanic.
The only other people in the restaurant was a Polynesian family gathered around a table in the middle of the room.
Number of Chinese people in the Chinese restaurant: 0.
But at least I still got an Engrish fortune cookie (You will always have good luck in you. Personal affairs.)

While on the plane to BronyCon, I ended up finally getting around to reading my first non-Wheel of Time Brandon Sanderson novel. Elantris was the first novel he wrote, and isn’t part of a series, so I figured I’d start with that.
