When I write Applejack's dialogue, I tend to spell her words using standardised spelling instead of "ah's" (I), and "-'in" (-ing). To me, using specific terms (e.g. howdy, partner) with the rest spelled in a standard form is adequate, because the reader should imagine Applejack speaking with her country accent instead of relying on an accent-ised spelling.

Well...

At around midnight, I finally sat down with my pony watching buddy. We had, each of our own accord and independent of one another, dressed fancy with some pony swag attached. We also each brought our favorite plushies to have and to hold (his, a Build a Bear Rarity, mine was a Critter Corral Sunset Shimmer). We watched it more or less in straight shot, occasionally pausing to laugh or crack jokes as was our habit.

Yeah....I dunno what happened. It completely froze up on my recently, then it went black, then it said it had no battery (which doesn't make sense, because it had 93% battery last I had checked) so when I plugged it back in, as soon as I checked to see if it was alive, it was, and my internet was back. I finished the chapter in time, it's been sent to my editor so she can look it over and tell me how bad it is XD Depending on what she says, I might have the chapter up in time anyway :) It is going to be short, but I think it's fine. Next chapter (chapter 54), or the chapter after that (55), I'm going back to mainly Jax, but I think using these different perspectives was very interesting and helped with my writing XD
