Alright. New game plan. · 10:49pm Nov 5th, 2023
So I have a bit of a new idea of what to do now.
So I have a bit of a new idea of what to do now.
I can't read.
I can't even read these.
Well, obviously that's deceptive. I wouldn't be able to write pn0y, let alone quality non-smut horsewords, if I weren't able to read properly. The problem is I can't force myself to read, like, anything.
I intend to change that now.
Hello friends! Just sending you this blog to plug a new article of mine, published today on The Outline, about security, paranoia, and why Amazon sucks.
Dune by Frank Herbert
In the distant future, everything is different. Computers have been outlawed, replaced by human-computers known as mentats. Interstellar travel is possible, thanks to the Guild, which uses prescient navigators and space-folding ships to travel faster than light. Humans live longer than ever. All this is thanks to a substance known as Melange, the spice that can only be found on a single, inhospitable desert planet known as Dune.
Now that Ashes is out of the way, I'm set to tackle three projects. Two of these are of the "crowd-pleaser" variety, which most of my followers will likely enjoy, as will most arbitrarily-selected bronies.
Hold on to your horsebandos.
I'm sorry for the lack of updates. I wasn't kidding when I said I had a slew of stories and updates to publish, but the problem is that I can't polish them off while I'm saddled with depression.
Indeed.
Written by me (for class). It’s a long post, so click below to read.
It's the end of the semester, which is a busy time for lecturers like me. Hence my absence.
I'll bet she has a hotness score on Rate My Professor.
I'm working on three projects:
I've made substantial changes to the Order Glossary I just posted for Twilight's Secret Journal. I've been doing this ever since I posted it, but I'm finally finished.
I've updated Twilight's Secret Journal with the first half of the hardest entry so far to write.
In TSJ headcanon, this Father's Day photo is carefully cropped.
TSJ update was ready a couple of days ago, but it still needs a final proof and I'm under the gun to finish grading exams. That kind of suspends everything for a few days.
Who knew such a tiny book could hold so many effing horsewords?
I'll try to have it ready sometime Tuesday evening.
So, I picked up and read through the Journal of the Two Sisters, mostly to try to decide for the final pass whether it should be Three Tribes or three tribes. I learned a couple things, one of which was that I'm overall not going to be matching their capitalization; it reads like they're saying Unicorn is to British, not unicorn is to human, but that doesn't work for me; I'll chalk it up to the gulf of time if I have to do so.
Announcing the launch of the Journal of Equestrian Science, possibly the first publication devoted to the scientific study of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. This was an idea which came out of Needling Haystack's panel at Nightmare Nights Dallas last year, (check out his YouTube channel). It is the also the work of
What up, everypony? Sorry I've been away and almost 100% incommunicado, but a lot of stuff has been happening to me lately. I have a motorcycle now, baseball season is in full swing (which eats up plenty of time, but that's sports, man)—but that's all so much riff-raff. Here's the meat of what matters to you all:
Since I lost a whole chapter of TSJ, I've decided to expand it as I rewrite it. So it will become two chapters now instead of one.
You poor mares have no idea.
Tartarus must have frozen over, because I finally updated Twilight's Secret Journal!
