Hiya, y'all~!
Hope everypony has had / having a wonderful Hearth's Warming and Christmas Day~!
I just put up a new story for this (very troubled) year. Enjoy with hot cocoa or something. Take a moment and relax~
Original Song: Frost by Blixemi
Key: Tempest Shadow
Also I'm really proud of this so if you guys want could you tell me your favorite verse in the comments? Okay, now here you go:
All that was hidden from me has stepped into the light
You stand there and weave your lies like a wolf prowls through the night
You fought to convince yourself so your soldiers would believe
The recent IDW comics issues 67 and 68 go into great detail about Tempest Shadow's past, and why her friends abandoned her. Plus a descent present-day adventure story. Plus Cadance. Read them for free here: https://readcomiconline.to/Comic/My-Little-Pony-Friendship-is-Magic/Issue-67?id=136564 Thanks Darth Link 22 for the heads up.
Just giving a quick update; this Tempest Shadow fic is well on its way to being a grand adventure, with thrills, mysteries and, of course, hot, steamy intimacy with our new favourite antagonist. In short: a classic Crowley story!
I'll post the teaser bio for the fic below. Spoilers for the Movie, obviously!
Okay, update on the Tempest fic: writing's basically done, just getting it proofread by a friend or two.
In the meantime, I've been making images for the fic itself, as I always to. Issue is, there are so few vectors and pics for Tempest Shadow... so much so, that I'm just taking what I can get and editing them to the point that they're unrecognisable. As such, it's taking a while. And since I'm no artist, these edits are a bit... sloppy.
Bezier sat in the donut shop, laying the side of her head against the table. She had recently heard of what had happened between Quantum and Pentagon. First Oculus dying and now this? Why couldn’t her best friend catch a break for once?
“Bezier...?”
Her ears perked when she heard that baritone voice. She furrowed her brow when she saw Pharynx standing behind her. “I’m not talking to you...” she mumbled.
*Recently, Tempest had taken it upon herself (and Pharynx’s self) to train Hero in combat. She was planning to use her spear, as she always did, and expected Hero to use his Timberblade. Well...*
*Walking towards him*
“Parry this you filthy casual.” *Pulls out revolver and clicks down on the hammer before aiming it at her*
“AHH—!”
Hi everyone! Just wanted to say how awesome the reaction to my first full fic in years, featuring Tempest Shadow, was! I'm glad there were still so many old users sticking around and showing support, and I'm happy for all the new faces here too!
Hello readers.
Because sequels don't get any specialized alerts for fav'd stories, I have to resort to a blog.
The first chapter of Fizzlepop's Wish, the sequel to On the Peak of Aris, is now live.
I hope you enjoy, and as always, thanks for reading!
After rewatching the movie I began to think: would the show have been better if Tempest had been the villain of season five instead of Starlight?
To me the answer is YES. Tempest not only has a more interesting appearance to her, but her backstory is more relatable as well as sympathetic. Plus it could have opened up more story telling potential. But that's just me and my opinion. Do you agree? Disagree? Let me know
Pharynx’s throat ran dry as soon as he turned around to see who was standing behind him. Bezier’s jaw merely remained agape as soon as she saw the unicorn’s stone cold expression.
“Tempest... I... I...”
Her lips worked wordlessly, and her brow suddenly furrowed.
“Tempest, I-I’m sorry...”
She then firmly turned around and left the building.
“Tempest, wait! Please!”
“Please...”
Or would you rather have her in a supporting role in the next film? Or just have her fade?
Why or why not?
The show has done a pretty decent job of not mentioning any spin-off material so far. Actually, I believe the sirens in the Season 7 finale flashback were the very first piece of Equestria Girls continuity we ever received in the show.
Thanks, have a lovely day.
I've been asked quite a few times why I decided to make Tempest Shadow hispanic in my story 'Dead by Sunset' so I figure I'll just answer it here. One of the big reasons is because I, myself, am hispanic and her speech patterns mimic many of my relatives, a sort of pidgin spanglish mixture that rops between the two languages with ease.
I was pretty dang proud of my Tempest Shadow pumpkin this year. The trick-or-treaters loved it.
When I came home from school I found it smashed. I suspected the idiot kid from downstairs (we rent out our basement), and footprint analysis confirmed my suspicions. (We had our first snowfall yesterday.)
So, I put the broken pieces on the back porch. "I know you did it."
