Ooooo, I was hoping this storyline would continue. Happy Hearth's Warming indeed!

Only wish Fizzlepop could ask for for herself would likely be "to continue to prove I've changed my ways and deserve my position.". So Starlight got Archmage robes? Though I wonder do Dash and Thunderlane still count as Wonderbolts?

Yes. This is something they do on the side.

Is Tempest's Hearth's Warming gift this year her old sidekick?

Well damn. I honestly didn't think he'd be making an appearance, but I like it!

FAUST DAMMIT GRUBBER!!! YOU RUIN EVERTHING!

Well well, now we'll get to hear his side of the story...

8783277
Not quite. Just providing my version of how he got out of Canterlot, as it differs from how he celebrated in the credits.

8783280
Really? Given his appearance last chapter I would have figured he'd be making his way to the castle for a 'reunion.' Or is he just going to spy from a distance? :trixieshiftright: Eh, that's probably asking for spoilers.

8783289
Indeed, have to wait and see. This is probably gonna be on the shorter side.

Ha! I knew he'd make his way out in the open at some point. :pinkiehappy:
Just one or two things I thought I'd point out:

With that, Fizzlepop's glowed with an intense blue light,

I think you accidentally a word.

The Princess told her, point a hoof down...

Pointing, I assume?
Sorry, it's editing instinct. :twilightsheepish:

Had a feeling I published this one too quickly.

8791650
I disagree. Waiting for an update is worse than some errors in my opinion.

And now, without further adieu

Should be "ado" which means "fuss". Adieu is French for "goodbye".

Also, spoiler alert, her wish is for two ha'pennies.

Awesome. Happy end for all involved.

Is there going to be a next installment with Grubber learning to be Fizzle's Number 1 assistant (or some equivalent) from Spike? Or something to that effect? It'd actually be kind of fun to see a Grubber story. I haven't seen many of them around.

As always, no concrete plans. But if you've any ideas, shoot me a PM

I am certain that hedgehog is who I think he is, and I'm also certain that I do not feel very excited that he is returning.
:facehoof::ajbemused::trixieshiftleft:

But all the same I will keep on with this. :pinkiehappy::twilightsmile::rainbowdetermined2:

Spikes gets Grubber into OnO :rainbowlaugh:

Currently brainstorming part 4 - no promises!

I don't see how Ponyville is any better given most ponies from Ponyville and beyond showed up for that event. Hehe. But I'll take it, given the AU.

I really like to think Tempest did appreciate having Grubber around to some degree. Cute little reunion here, it just wouldn't feel the same without her little assistant around to hype up the crowds at how awesome she is. ;3

Not one, but two ha'pennies!

Also, good job on the chapter! Gonna read that epilogue now!

Aww, what a nice bit of Slice of Life with a Dash of action. Thanks for creating and sharing.

I’m wondering could someone do a story where tempest returns to her old village to make amends with her parents and childhood friends but she doesn’t know if they want her back? Also do a story of tempest being tickling by parents and childhood friends

to be fair, there was plenty of things that while Hasbro and Faust were good at doing, cohesive and expansive storytelling isn't their strong suit: a School of Friendship that was influenced by the events of the Movie and by the characters throughout Seasons 5 and 7 like Dragons, Griffons, Changelings, Hippogriffs, and Yaks. But we don't get to see any of the other creatures and learn about the cultures including the ones we saw as far back in Seasons 1-4:
Cows, Sheep, Zebras, Buffalo, Diamond Dogs, Donkeys, Thestrals, Crystal Ponies, Saddle Arabians, Breezies, Kirin, Centaurs, Gargoyles, Deer, Abyssinians, Arakkoa, Hedgehogs, or the biggest offender of them all: ALICORNS.

Luckily, we have the Fandom to try and fill in the blank spaces however we can, but its not even enough then.

". . . . just as tough as our platemail. . . .”

Okay, time for my one tiny nit-pick, and it IS tiny. I am well aware that language is more or less shaped by those who speak it, and so common use makes a word legitimate more than anything else. That said, as an avid student of historical arms and armor, I feel the driving need to unnecessarily point out that “Platemail” is not a thing. You have Plate Armor, and then you have Mail (Maille) Armor, which is most often referred to as “Chainmail”, although this is also, again pedantically, incorrect.

Okay, I’ve said my piece, and now I will leave you to your own thing! Have a wonderful day! :twilightblush:

Yeah I pulled that from fantasy settings and not any historically accurate source.

I figured, it’s just something that always jumps out at me when I see it, is all. Awesome story though, man, I’m loving it all so far! :pinkiehappy:
