If there's one thing this fandom is good at, it's drama. I have never been involved in a community that, down to even some of the smallest subgroups that I've been involved in, revolves so heavily on drama. Now that Twilicorn has had a couple of years to die down, it's time to shift our focus to the latest polarizer in our cute little pony show: Starlight Glimmer.

After rewatching the movie I began to think: would the show have been better if Tempest had been the villain of season five instead of Starlight?
To me the answer is YES. Tempest not only has a more interesting appearance to her, but her backstory is more relatable as well as sympathetic. Plus it could have opened up more story telling potential. But that's just me and my opinion. Do you agree? Disagree? Let me know
this is a little thing i've seen a few people on the internet say, i think maybe they should of made a close friendship between luna and starlight (much like with twilight and celestia) i said it a bunch of times out of the reformed villains i really think the relate a lot for having a dark past. (don't get me wrong twilight was a good teacher to starlight one thing i have a problem with celestial advice is that it kind of felt a little forceful for starlight graduating i've been thinking that

Other villains were either stoned or sent to Tartarus, but Starlight Glimmer, who didn't destroy just one world but many, get rewarded by becoming part of Mane 7.

Okay, if you have now seen the premiere of Season 6, do you realize just how similar that scene of restoring the Crystal Heart is to the illustration in Chapter 18 of "A Different Perspective"? I'm boggled even if you're not.
