It should come as no surprise that I enjoy a good crossover, but the latest chapter of Dueling Keyboards is breaking some new ground for me. It's not the first time I've contemplated working with the Caped Crusader, but it is the first I've been able to put to virtual paper. I hope you enjoy it.

Between programming and YouTube binging, I've had little time or creative energy for ponywords lately. Still, I've been able to get out a Dueling Keyboards short with a little Friendship Games headcanon. Blame/thank PresentPerfect for giving me the nudge.

Just a heads-up that the next FiCG will be covering the recent pony and technicolor humanoid shorts, and that a new Dueling Keyboards short inspired by one of them has just gone up.

Say what you will about the latest special, it still inspired me to write a Sunlight short. You can find it in Dueling Keyboards.

Got an idea and struck while the inspiration was fresh. It's technically long enough to qualify for individual publication, but I don't like putting up anything that isn't at least two thousand words on its own. As such, it's the latest Dueling Keyboards short. Bear in mind that there will be spoilers for the end of "Spring Breakdown."

You may recall one option of the latest Thought Dissection blog was a story entitled Full-Court Press, a post-"The Crystalling" press conference. horizon made a very good point about how it was a time-sensitive concept, so I started fleshing it out. I was applying some of the final coats of polish earlier today when I realized that, honestly, it's just not a very good idea.

Wow, someone else was inspired to do a different take on the duel story idea (two stories in one writing).

Check out Scribblestick's story Between the Lines. It's also a bit dark for those of you who like that sort of thing. Overall I think it was done better than mine but it's hard to tell as I am very hard on myself. I do think he used the mechanic better.

Finally got to post the sequel to the Autocorrect Spell :) (and Trixie has returned :))
What is more it happens to be my 20th story :))) not much of a milestone, but at least me and I am moving forward :)

Been trying to take advantage of Memorial Day weekend to get some writing done, so naturally I started doing so on Monday. Ah, procrastination. In any case, a new Dueling Keyboards short is up.

Since I've received some pretty positive responses from my Duel of the Fates spinoffs, I thought I'd head into the next part. The story will be mostly moving away from the Mane 7 characters and focus on Tempest and Rose. I also want to set it in a new locale to make it a much larger scale of conflict and set up a whole other cast of characters. I'm debating who I want to put in as FIM has so many unique characters and I love using lesser used ones. With Tempest as a lead I want to use Grubber

Just a tad surprised that Equestria Girls: Duel Monsters is still getting likes despite the final cancellation of the project on July. On one hand, it is nice that people liked it, on the other I am feeling quite indecisive if I should just tighten the proverbial belt and carry on with it, even if I genuinely don't find Yu-Gi-Oh in its current state appealing in the slightest, all the while Umbral Souls, despite the near back-to-back update last month didn't garner so much as a peep.

After some heavy solo contemplation and discussions with some friends who like to read my work, I've decided I will do a full rewrite of The Third Duel for these reasons:
1) The way it is currently written is much less skilled than the writing habits I have now developed;
2) I want to write it as a proper M-Rated story, so that I can pass the effect of a loss of innocence in a much darker, meaningful way;
