"Mean Twilight"-inspired Story From A Friend · 8:10pm Sep 25th, 2021
My friend Infatuation recently put out a new story I really liked, Cleaning Duties, inspired by the Mean Twilight series. If you liked that one, definitely give it a read!

The Royal Guard Special Ψ Unit is back with more info on Field Marshal Twilight Velvet's past!
So. there I was, folding laundry, a feat to do when you are recovering from food poisoning, when this lovely scene popped into my mind.
Shining Armor: We're so glad you're willing to watch Flurry for us.
Twilight Sparkle: Of course I would, I'm The best aunt ever!
Cadence: Well, Twilight, there is a little problem—
Shining Armor: You see, Flurrys been on a Mexican kick lately and—
Cadence: She really likes Mexican food.
Thought I'd actually blog something lworth looking at instead of a shit post. Should check this story out.

Yay! It's been featured!
Thanks to everybody who's read, upvoted, commented, and favourited the story. It means a lot to me!
In the study of combat enhancement suites, the ponies of the noble House Twilight (typically referred to as 'Twilights') are a unique case. As a specific bloodline, many researchers overlook it as an example; however, as the changes are the result of magic cast long ago, this bloodline does still technically count as a combat enhancement suite, one of the earliest known, in fact. Notably, as these changes were not the result of a single spell (as nearly every other combat enhancement suite is),
Now the story it self isn't long but the detail in which goes into is very descriptive. So why did I read this well for one I haven't posted anything in a long ass time and two is because well it's on my todo list.
And the ironic thing is I said I was going to write a story about Twilight Sparkle to commemorate the day. And for double irony, I actually have an idea of what I want to write.
On the bright side, the reading for My Tax Policy is gonna be premiering in 2 hours (if you didn't already get that memo the first time )
Just a fair warning, this will be a very rambly post about the history of this story, a little bit about my own personal history with the show and fandom, and a rough roadmap for the future. Maybe not necessarily in that order.
Where to begin? First thing's first is I will get this out of the way right off the bat:
Magisight: Thaumaturgical Ocularity will have 1 new chapter posted every Thursday between the hours of 6 PM and midnight US Central time.
In case you haven't read chapter 7 yet, the "big surprise" I've been talking about (not really a surprise but whatever) is there is a SONG to go alongside the chapter! Composed by the talented Cadenza Heartsong, it's an ambient track to highlight the mysteries and strange magic auras that permeate the cave of Amethyst Hollow, an ancient cave buried in the far Frozen North of the Crystal Empire. You can either listen to it as you read chapter 7, and the next handful of chapters, or listen to it
I hope you all are having a lovely weekend so far!
Wow, hard to imagine I'm already at 14 chapters! I hope you are enjoying the story thus far. This was a fun chapter to write, since the setting allowed for some more creative fun stuff than what Amethyst Hollow could potentially offer. Lots of nooks and crannies, little side rooms, excuses to take advantage of unique architecture.
Wew. Been a while since I've done a blog entry. It's been a busy and stressful last few weeks (As usual). It seems all I ever blog about are delays!
Unfortunately, the editing on chapter 13 is taking a bit longer than anticipated. There's a number of scenes my editor was not happy with, and upon reflection and review, I'm inclined to agree, so it's taking some extra time to ensure things are coherent and of the highest quality possible.
Hello!
So it's 1:30 in the morning and I decided to go ahead and start publishing some of the short stores I've written alongside my main project. First up is a story I wrote as a Christmas gift for a friend during the Manechat Discord server's Secret Santa event. Just a silly little story involving Bionicles with an MLP twist at the end, all in good fun (I also know absolutely nothing about Bionicle and had about 15 tabs open on their Wikia as a cheat sheet.).
I've added some explicit chapters to my story, Schmerz.
Edit: I'm not allowed to say where they are found due to Fimfiction site rules.
I would have made a blog post to hype chapter 2 last week, but I was sick! I woke up ill on Tuesday morning and although I wasn't completely bed-ridden, it definitely sapped a lot of motivation. I'll be sure to reply to some of the comments/favorites that have popped up since then as soon as I can. Thankfully, I am now feeling better, even if it's almost a whole week later...
SO, I survived Bronycon!
What a doozy of a chapter. So many stuff and things and things and stuff! First of all, I am SO GRATEFUL for the positive feedback this chapter has received! A lot of credit goes to Ember, and I cannot express my gratitude to him enough for being my extra set of eyes and correcting a lot of my strangely worded or overly long lines. He's been a huge help, just like all of you have for supporting me! As I've said earlier, this is the part of the story where things start to really get set into
Hello, everyone! I know this is probably not the news you wanted to hear, but after much consideration and discussion with Ember and Denzy, we have all agreed to change Magisight from a weekly serialization to a bi-weekly one. This means that, chapter 16 will not come tomorrow, and will instead come the following week on Friday, July 5th. Chapter 17 will come Friday, July 19th, and so on and so forth (a possible extra delay for Bronycon is pending)
