Magisight: Schedule change! Now bi-weekly! · 4:11am Jun 28th, 2019

Hello, everyone! I know this is probably not the news you wanted to hear, but after much consideration and discussion with Ember and Denzy, we have all agreed to change Magisight from a weekly serialization to a bi-weekly one. This means that, chapter 16 will not come tomorrow, and will instead come the following week on Friday, July 5th. Chapter 17 will come Friday, July 19th, and so on and so forth (a possible extra delay for Bronycon is pending)

The reason for this is partly related to the reason I switched from Thursday to Friday; we were simply feeling too much pressure to hit a new chapter within that time frame. I had thought moving it to Friday would help, since I was frequently pushing chapters back a day, or otherwise somewhat rushing and cutting things close, but honestly, that didn't really address the issue. I feel that by publishing one chapter every two weeks will help take some pressure off of everyone, and ensure everything remains enjoyable.

I'll be honest, the last few weeks I had been stressing and worrying about hitting the Friday date, and it was not uncommon for chapters to be pushing the last minute. All too frequently I would have Denzy finish reading the chapter, I would finish one or two minor changes, and I would immediately drop the chapter right afterward at like 8, 9, or even 10 PM. It was just getting too stressful, and nobody wants to have that when working on something creative.

With this change, there shouldn't be any further delays barring a major emergency. The only upcoming "delay" I can think of is Bronycon, which all three of us will be attending. That may or may not affect my release schedule, but I will keep you all posted as that date approaches.

Again, I do apologize dearly for the constant schedule changes. I got in way over my head on trying to stick to a weekly schedule, and although it started off fairly well (we had a buffer of several chapters already fully edited), it quickly became too much to handle on a weekly basis and still maintain other obligations or hobbies. As I've said before, the story is fully drafted, but it requires heavy editing and polish to ensure that you, the reader, have the best possible story and experience that we can deliver.

Again, I do apologize. Please look forward to it.

May the stars shine until the end of your journey!
