I'm an asshole.
why yes the write on discord that i basically live in has been boosted enough to get an animated server icon
Set in the same alternative universe as my previous four-part story, Marking the Generations. Reading it isn’t a requirement but some changes to characters and setting have taken place.
Yep I have no will it seems to continue for now. In the future? I don't know.
"Oh Tumbleweed!" you cry.
"You are the best at ponies! But how do you write about ponies who are friends when you probably don't have any of your own (because you are best at ponies)?"
WELL LET ME TELL YOU.
Step 1:
Drink drinks. Of your choice. Personally, I prefer fancy beer, which I can sing a song song about but won't because I don't want to get sidetracked.
Step 2:
Watch this:
Step 3:
Body language and nonverbal communication play a large role in what we are trying to communicate in person, so it stands to reason that it’s just as important in writing. One thing that I’ve been hearing from a lot of the writers that I spend time with is that writing non-verbal communication is often difficult, daunting, frustrating, or downright intimidating to do well. While I think some of it is largely due to overthinking on the part of the author (let’s be real, no one is
A member of my new FimFiction writing group, ScifiPony's Writer's Training Ground, asked me about deadlines, specifically about missing them. Here is the advice I gave:
Greetings, everyone!
After writing my last blog, I realized that there were some parts not covered in the From Finner writing reflection that I really wanted to discuss. So, without further ado, let's jump into the second part of this writing reflection!
The Cloak
"Oh Tumbleweed!" you cry.
"Please, good sir, tell us. Given the fact that you, sir, are BEST AT PONIES, and also the science fact that Rarity is BEST PONY, surely these things are related? So tell us, please, how do you write Rarity? As surely you have been sitting on this secret for various inscrutable reasons and not because you have been lazy."
WELL LET ME TELL YOU.
So I've gotten plenty of comments on the story, asking or begging for a sequel. Guys, I do not have any intention or plans to make a sequel for this story. Besides, I got other fic and YouTube projects in mind. But, here's what some people on a discord server told me: 'let the fans write one." People have wrote fan sequels for "My Little Dashie" "Fall out Equestria" etc. If you guys would like to sequel my story, go for it! Nothing's stopping you. If you'd like me to see it, just PM it
I kinda hate to do this, but... The Gate has been cancelled.
The story of a large number of ponies going to Hogwarts, ignoring numerous signs they should have seen... and dominating the wizards. It's actually a halfway decent read, towards the end- when I started getting halfway okay at character development and that.
So, I've just posted a new story to Fimfic and it may look a bit... familiar to something else I wrote a couple years ago.
A friend of mine is hosting a Story Writing Contest for Princess Cadance. If you are interested in participating in the said contest, there is prize money for the writing with extra cash that can be earned. For more details, you can follow the link. https://www.fimfiction.net/group/216555/the-princess-of-infidelity-contest
So, you want to make your story have a bit more oomph. You don't want to simply make it about characters resolving a conflict in a setting of your choice. Instead, you want to make it leave an impression on the viewers, teach the reader a mind-blowing lesson that will stick with them for their entire life.

Hey! I'm going to show you how I write!
Step one: I write the main events and dialog. I make the main event the longest out of all the events. You can see the difference clearly.
Step two: I go to the beginning of the chapter, and I keep expanding on what I wrote.
Step three: Repeat step two.
Step four: Repeat step three.
I swear, I had like a chapter in my head; and all I got written was one line, an updated description for one character, and two things of dialogue.
Ah, well. It was for an alt-universe story I can’t seem to kickstart the conflict to, anyway.
