The lyrics to our great National Anthem!:
O! say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
Thanks to Fistfire for pointing these out.
I have gone through and fixed some grammar issues and odd wording in all 3 chapters.
You guys... this fandom never ceases to amaze me.

Another year, another donut... or something like that.
This year's been quite the busy year for me. Between the usual college drumroll; drafting out plans for upcoming stories; growing increasingly dissatisfied with, and then rediscovering my enjoyment in my premier story series, A Song of Storms, it's been a year of ups and downs, but it's mostly been for the better. And now, as the final hours of 2015 wane away on us, it's time to look back at everything 2015 has brought.
Time seems to be flying by quickly these days. Another year gone, a new one to follow. Happy New Year to you all! Welcome 2016!
Back in January of 2014, I did an AMA. Now it's practically two full years later so I'm doing another one! For the next week, ask me whatever questions you want about any topic you can think of and I'll answer them. And, so I get different questions this time, here's the previous AMA as a guide for all the questions I've already been asked and have answered: Previous AMA
I look forward to answering your questions!
What will it be?
It could be David Bowie's "Black Star"
The upcoming Tool album.
The upcoming Guns N Roses comeback album.
Deftones "Gore" (An album I just purchased today, it is by far the best album from Deftones in a long time)
The upcoming Radioed album
The upcoming Pearl Jam album.
I don't know yet. It could be any of them. What do you all think?
Hiya, my lovely peeps.
Yesterday marked 7 years since my Nana passed away.
On February 1st, 2016, at around 11:00 AM, my Pa gets a phone call from the hospital. It sounds urgent and, as soon as the call is over, Pa tell us to get changed and we have to leave now. I barely have time to grab a snack before Pa throws us all in the car. On the way to the hospital, Ma asks him what’s wrong. Pa takes in a deep breath and says the next words as calm as he can.
And I'm back for round 2! I've gotten through another three stories that have all been submitted to the 2016 Scribblefest and I'm going to give my own thoughts regarding whether I liked them or not and who I'd recommend them to, depending on your tastes. Hopefully a few of you will find something cool to read from these blogs, and if you already found something you enjoyed, please post it in the comments below, so I can make reading it a priority.
CLEVELAND (AP) — The Chicago Cubs defeated the Cleveland Indians 8-7 Thursday to claim their first World Series victory in more than 100 years.
Trailing three games to one in the series, the Cubs rallied to win games five, six and seven.
Happy October everyone :) Don't you just love Halloween? I'd like to thank all of you again for the feedback, likes, comments, and even the dislikes on my stories. It has come to my attention that there are a ton of interesting bloggers on here, so I've decided to try and be more active in my own blog, and what better way to do that than rant about my life?
Well. We all know what happened with the recent blogs.
Yikes. I'm not myself anymore. I remember when I used to be the good guy, not this aggressive self that uses snark to be as condescending as possible.
Folks, I'm sorry that I've fucked up so much. I'll get better, but it won't be on here.
I think this has been a long awaited goodbye. I don't know how else to put it.

No, not Castro. Wish I'd got this out before then, actually.
No, this week, we lost Scott Eric Kaufman, better known as SEK: a great member of the blogosphere, one of the men who helped to legitimize it as a forum academics could participate in, and someone whose life attracted weird shit at every turn.
