After the Regret, Rainbow Dash is separated from the other Elements in a ruined Equestria. Having been given orders by the dying Princess Celestia to find the other Elements of Harmony and rebuild the world as the new deities, Rainbow Dash sets out to find the friends she was separated with. The fact that she saved Scootaloo was a complete accident.

A year after Pipsqueak loses his brother in an accident, he is now living in Ponyville and approached by the CMC to join their Camping Crusade for cutie marks. Despite his apprehensions, he joins them, while the memories he and his brother shared plague him. Can Pipsqueak get over the pain and have fun with his new friends? And when danger approaches, will he have the strength to get himself and the CMC to safety?

Fluttershy wants to confess her love to Twilight, but she's afraid to. Rarity comes up with an idea for her and Twilight to have picnic together, so as to tell her in a romantic setting.

On the night of his birthday, Spike's sad musings are interrupted by Twilight, who decides visiting everypony the next day might cheer him up. Now with some editing!

Rainbow Dash is a headstrong, athletic pony who is utterly faithful to her friends and doesn't keep any secrets from them. Or so she pretends. Yet a surprise visit from Twilight Sparkle is about to blow the secret wide open, and the multi-hued pegasus will find out just how strong their friendship is.

Note: This story was written in the week following the airing of "May The Best Pet Win", and well before "Read It and Weep" was even known about. As such it haws since been overtaken by canon, but most folk tend to like it still so I will upload it here so I have a bit of a presence on FIMfiction beyond "lurker #347,921".

This story also includes "The Unrelated Epilogue" which is a mini-story based on a loose bit in the main one that I felt did not stand on its own, but that I wanted up nonetheless. It has Luna, but not RD or TS.

Twilight has been called up to teach at the School for Gifted Unicorns, and has to write her final letter to Princess Celestia. In it, she talks of the struggles of moving on, but that in the end, they will never forget.
