This story is a sequel to Soft Spoken With a Big Heart

Takes place during the events of Head in the Clouds.

After the train wreck incident, both Fluttershy and Big Macintosh have developed a strong interest in each other. The problem is, they are both extremely shy ponies who barely speak out about anything. Two months have gone by and neither have been able to act on their feelings despite it being on their minds day in and day out. Is it possible for a relationship, or even just friendship to bloom if the two ponies in question are nearly incapable of voicing their thoughts and feelings?

A story of finding the courage to face your fears and make sacrifices for those you love. It's not important that you SAY how much you care. It's important that you SHOW how much you care.

Life on the farm is hard on the body. Loneliness is harder on the soul. Big Mac finally screws up his courage to ask Fluttershy out before he's a broken down nag. Luckily for him, five of the Mane Six are supportive of the idea. The bad part is which one of the six disagrees.

Big Macintosh and Fluttershy meet under pretty normal circumstances and find that there may be an inkling of infatuation within their hearts. After spending some time together, Big Mac decides he wants to train Fluttershy to become strong willed and confident in herself. Will his methods succeed? Will something more emerge from these interactions? Will they be able to stand up to the judging eyes of friends and strangers alike? Well, I suppose you'll have to read it and find out.

The Ponies travel to Appleoosa to cheer on Big Mac in a competition of strength. His efforts are both awesome and inspiring, earning him high honors and regards. But when disaster strikes is his strength the answer? A story of knowing your limits, and when to listen to the voice of reason, even if it's very quiet.

There was only one small problem. Turns out Fluttershy is betrothed already, to another pegasus. And why are they calling her Warbringer?

Either way, Mac isn't about to let anything stand in his way of being with the one he loves.
