So you've discovered Kaidan and are wondering what to read?
My stories are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes I tried, sometimes I didn't, always I welcomed story prompts and commissions in my quest to explore every genre that existed.
I started out writing light-hearted stories. Then I went into a clop phase, a super dark phase, then stopped writing by 2015. For a couple months I returned for commissions around 2018, then returned again Sep 2021 for Gen 5.
Now I want to focus on lighter subjects again: Comedy, Romance, HiE. I still want to do some Dark Tragedy, but balance it with a generally more mature and optimistic world view.
I plan not to write any, or minimal, clop or gore for the foreseeable future. A story can be just as good, or better, without gratuitous sex and violence.

Meeting my Hero Scootaloo time travels to meet her hero, Dash.

The Short Story Collections
I was a bit compulsive about keeping very organized for a while, and filed a lot of short one-shots away into these compilations instead of separating the 40+ of them into their own individual stories.
Kaidan's Short Stories: Vol. 1 - Teen Some of my earliest work on the site before I'd learned much about writing, but still charming in their own way. From Warpony 40k to a Dexter parody.

Sanctuary A spin-off of Asylum by Daemon_Of_Decay, who inspired me to learn to write better, helped me build up some fans, and otherwise did their best to send me down the high road into fim fiction.
Celestia Ships Herself - Mature — There was a time when I refused to write clop. Then I wrote a birthday gift for Brony2893. 31 clop tags later and... yeah. I guess this Comedy about Celestia cloning herself for fun times is where it all started to go wrong.
Shattered Prism The story about Dash getting in an accident, and feeling something was not right, she has to seek out the truth. Inspired me to write Dash of Humanity.
The Sexiest Stuff
In the same way I explored genres, I explored fetishes. You should probably stop scrolling down now, but if you're into clop, enjoy.
Fluttershy's Self-Bondage Misfortune - Mature — The most vanilla, and popular, of the sexy fics. Rarity x Fluttershy, rope bondage.
Vinyl and Chocolatavia - Mature — Romantic Slice of Life about a date to the carnival, and a chocolate fountain
Twilight's Plant Problem - Mature — 34,000 words about sex with every kind of plant imaginable. I mean, any sane person would have stopped after one chapter but I just kept going for some reason...
Applejack's Milk Machine - Mature — This is where I started going into more niche stuff, but for people who wanted to see a Pony Transformed into a cow and milked, I'm told it was good.
Lyra's Splash Zone - Mature — And here's where Lyra kidnaps a human for wild sex. I don't know what I was thinking.

Mistress Do Well: Fractured Elements - Mature - A Sequel by milesprower06
A special mention for this one, because I took a horrifying twist on "Mysterious Mare Do Well" that spawned a spin-off series 5 stories long by the talented milesprower06. They have done series for me (and Cupcakes) about ponies recovering from traumatic experiences and learning to live their lives again.
One of the reasons I ended up not attempting to take down my shocking fiction (see next heading) was because some skilled authors like him were able to do beautiful things out of something I wrote that, in hindsight, I consider my worst works.
Shock Fiction
I'm not going to link any, but it's there. Search by tag if you must. The internet is forever and there's been 8+ years worth of archives so I've left all my stories listed, even though it's stuff I wouldn't write again going forward. The cat got out of the bag, had kittens, and died of old age during my long hiatus.
Shock Fiction (like Sweet Apple Massacre, Cupcakes, Cheerilee's Garden, gratuitously violent) is one of two things I have zero plans to ever write again. The other thing I never have or ever will write is Foalcon, which was always a hard limit. Funny I drew the line there, but not at some other things I find quite disturbing in hindsight.
