So, it's probably obvious by now that Trot Buddies is a daily, do or die. It won't go on forever. What's it at now? Eleven chapters? I see it ending at around twenty-five. Maybe thirty. It's really just an exercise to shake the rust off while I do other things on the side.

But what should I do next? And no, I don't mean that. We'll get to that when the time comes.
I have ideas. I always have ideas. Sometimes I wish I could start an auction and toss ideas to the highest bidder--just so I can see the dayum narratives greet the light of day. Maybe that could be a blargh of its own.
But seeing as most people aren't as crazy as me, and Rainbowbob hasn't written in eons, I guess it's up to this lemur.

What you'll see is the following:
These are ideas that I've been mulling for at least a few weeks lately, and they're the latest on my docket. So why not let y'all marsupials have a piece of the pie?
I can't promise full revelations this early on, but...
-Moody fic starring Gallus - I've already started this and it's currently at 2.4k words. It's a Post Season 9 fic with Gallus inserted as a brooding/depressed protagonist on a "spirit quest," so to speak. Philosophical and pretentious. Will probably be 10k words or more. Not an epic.
-Another One of *those* Flash Sentry stories - You know the drill, even if Flash doesn't although he might *get* one, f'naaaaa. Oh, you thought I was done? Do ho ho ho.
-Start of Longform Trixie Fic With Major Brony Nostalgia Elements - This is something I thought up as a way to flex my brain bone as I attempt getting back into the writing scene. It'd be a longgggggg one, although written relatively casually--like Trot Buddies. Small chapters spread over a long time, likely taking a back seat to other projects. It involves Season One and time travel. Major nostalgia fuel.
-Horror Fic (possibly maybe for a contest) - We need a priest. Maybe an anonymous one.
-Start of a Full-Blown Fetish Fic (probably on an alt) - Last year was a bust in SS&E's attempt to make a splash in the NSFW scene (and that was this lemur's fault entirely). But that doesn't mean I wanna give up. There's a totally inconspicuous alt sitting around on the site that might be a good location for long-term naughtiness. Perhaps sequestering it would be the best for everyone's sanity. Or at least for their esophaguses.
-Another Trixie Crapshot - The muse is alive and kicking--not to mention great and powerful (and adorable). Expect more silliness and adorableness in cuddable asshole form.
-Pretentiously "relevant" fic featuring Twilight and Discord - The title of the fic is "Social Discording." Let *that* give you an idea. Tagged for Slice of Life and Comedy, but maybe with room for feelz(tm) as well.
-By the Numbers Shipping Oneshot - Cuz this shiet never gets old. If this wins, I might do a second poll and let marsupials choose from a list of pairings, 'cuz Nietzsche knows I've got backup ideas to spare.
So there you have it.

Methinks I'll leave the poll open through the end of this week. So, come Sunday, I'll come back and check on it and proceed from there. This--of course--assuming there's fair amount of people who'll still vote for Fimfic things and they haven't all gone to the Steven Universe fandom.

I voted for Gallus. I adore the Student/Young Six. What could have easily been just shoehorned, flat, lame characters turned out to be interesting, compelling, and nigh-unbearably cute. While I would always prefer some happy stuff, or shipping—*cough* *cough* *cough*—I would eagerly devour a dive into Best Griffon Boi.

Gallus certainly has the personality for it. Similar to Rainbow in a lot of ways, but a completely different upbringing
I can relate. I feel like I might be more able to write more of my in-progress stories if I didn't have so many other ideas.
As I said before, I am in awe of you for the amount of stuff you've finished. It's really impressive.

Obligatory reminder that "Great and Powerful" as a moniker is taken from the eponymous Wizard of Oz, who had no magical powers whatsoever. Trixie is slightly better off than that, but it's still clearly meant to be akin to the deceptive cadence someone slipped into the This Day Aria.

Mhm, but now I want multiple ideas to come to fruition. They just sound so good and I really would want to be able to read them. A the Nsfw Flash stuff simply isn’t my cup of tea due to really only sticking with mature gore stuff and SFW stories. So variety ideas help, but skirts shouldn’t stop writing them if he doesn’t want to y’know? Any introspective and lore focused stuff is welcome, and especially if they’re going to use older headcanon like some sound like they will.
