Time marches on. And every year, we set aside one day to remember that we are alive and have enjoyed (or at least survived) another year on this earth. Today is my day to acknowledge I have had a year to grow older and hopefully wiser. In the very least, it is a year that I have been able to make more friends and enjoy the friendship of both those dear and close to me, and those in this amazing community. And I can only wish that this next year allows me to continue those relationships, forge new ones and (I dearly hope) continue to be a positive impact on as many around me as I can.
Thank you, everyone. Your friendship means more to me than I can say.

As I said last year and the years before: today is a day to smile for having survived another year. It is the day to look back on the year and be thankful for what blessings it brought and proud to have weathered its storms. It is a day worth celebrating, and a day worth taking as much of a break as life allows. And, of course, it is the day for having fun making wishes.
One of the best gifts this week has been a new laptop. This is partially a gift to myself, replacing the one that was stolen. But it is also a gift from my closest and dearest friend, who helped me order and finance it, paying for part of it and even helping me set it up. Thank you so much! (You know who you are. 
)
This year, I am fortunate enough to have my birthday off from work. After posting this blog, I plan to spend the day with friends, both online and local. (Mostly we've been playing Armello and having a grand time with it, and we have an Exalted game tonight.)
I may also catch a movie and tinker with my latest Fallout 4 settlement build. I hope to have something worth showing off in a week or two.
When it comes to birthday wishes, again I do not want anything selfish, and there is little more I could wish for in a life already made so rich by the amazing fans and friends of this community. Last year, I wished that Season 6 would be one that we enjoyed and found worth the wait. And wow... that wish was granted beautifully, beyond all expectations. So this year, I'll make the same wish for Season 7. And beyond that, I wish us all the best possible coming year. I wish the authors, artists and others doing amazing work in the fan community continued inspiration and success. I wish to see all of you and more again this time next year.
