Recovering from my heart attack · 6:10pm Dec 30th, 2016

As many may have heard, I suffered a heart attack yesterday. They rushed me down to Maine General in Portland, where they immediately prepped me to put a stent in. I don't remember them putting it in but it seems to have done wonders.

The heart attack effected my right ventical. Fortunately, it looks like the damage was minimized, chiefly because I called for an ambulance quickly, and they was able to stabilize me quickly.

Having this happen has really been a wake-up call. I need to start exercising again, as well as quit smoking. I also need to change my dietary habits, eating healthier foods, cutting way back on the caffeine... I'm sure y'all know the score.

To everyone who has sent their wishes for wellness and recovery, I thank you. Those well wishes do wonders for me, knowing that people care. Thank you again.

Holy crap, you had a heart attack?! I'm so sorry, but I'm glad you're better now.

Yikes! I did not know that. It's great they got to you like that, though! I wish you well, and I do hope the transition to those better habits is smooth and seamless for you.

I've been out of town for the holiday, so this is news to me.:pinkiegasp::rainbowderp:

Not to be harsh, but I guess sometimes things like this are the kick-up-the-arse we need to get us back onto the right track. Glad to see you came out the other side in one piece though.

Well damn man, good luck with all of that.

I'm so sorry, I missed this.

I really hope you're feeling better. Heart attacks are a terrible thing.

4436576 recovering, and things are looking good as far as my heart goes. I've quit smoking, and have changed my diet for the better. I've also removed from my life some of the things which was causing me extra stress, which contributed to the attack.

That's excellent on all counts. I hope you have a long, healthy life.

4436937 well, at least long enough for me to accomplish certain goals lol

You get another heart, because your ticker took a licking and you kept on ticking~
