So recently, I had you all ask me questions. Now I've got a question for you:
What authors should I be paying more attention to?
I'm sure you see the same names over and over in my reviews. Sometimes, it's because they're prolific. Sometimes, they've caught the eye of a fic reader (especially Captain Sand), who goes through a slew of their fics all at once. Other times, it's just because they write a lot of good stories I want to read.
But who have I overlooked? I'm always on the lookout for new authors; give me some names!
(Rules: No self-promotion. Don't suggest individual stories, or at least, don't expect me to read the ones you suggest. Be sure to provide a link to their author/stories page!)

Crap! Because 90% of the author's I read were recommended by you, I have nothing to contribute.
Well, you already cover Venates and Enigmatic Otaku, so you're on the right track.
I still swear that Anonpencil is the funniest author on this website, who's also capable of making fantastic serious work. But then again, she's my writing mentor, so I suppose I'm biased. :V
Maybe check out some narrations done for Seventh Heaven? I've been happy with most of what he's written.
And if you haven't ever given "GetMeOuttaHere" a shot, I would humbly plead for you to give Exchange a shot.

In all seriousness now, all the people I follow tend to be pretty well-known, so I have no idea what to suggest. Screaming "Kitsunerisu" or "Pearple Prose" probably won't make much of an effect, as you already know those two.
That said, UnlicensedBrony has at least one really great story (great enough for me to jump in and proofread the latest chapters, and if you know me you'll know that's a rarity unless you're MrNumbers[1]), and there's never enough Chuckfinley in your reviews.
[1] Eyes On You, in case you're wondering, but the rest of his library is also pretty good, so feel free to read whatever, yo.
The only person that comes to mind is somatic. I haven't read all of his stories, but the one's I have read I've found quite enjoyable.
The only author I'd suggest from off the top of my head is 8686, though it seems you've already read a couple of their stories...
Go read a few by WishyWish and CoffeeBean.

Most of the people who come to mind for me are either inactive anymore, pure clop authors, or both, but there is Rocinante. I edit and toss ideas back and forth with him sometimes, and on the whole he's pretty good. Gets surprisingly few reviews for how many followers he has and how many features he's gotten, and I don't think you've ever done one of his.
Sleepy Panda she's not the most well known but her stories are always consistent and funny

There's somepony who I am certain is not on your watchlist and really should be.
He's funny, he does super-insightful reviews, he has over a thousand watchers, and you're not one of them!
And he writes funny crackfics that are totally up your alley. You'll love them. He's perfect for you.

If you haven't yet (I am at work so searching your list via phone is right out), I would suggest Estee. Their whole Triptych quasi-AU is fascinating. It's basically Equestria though the lens of a more realistic (in the sense that the world is very much not utopian, but ponies try their best to make it so) take on the setting.
I especially recommend Naked Lunch, because I have a huge soft spot for gryphons, and it is a wonderful look at what it takes to be an immigrant in Equestria. No Sale as well for a look at the difficulties of being Rarity.
If you haven't read any of his stories yet, I would highly recommend Demon Eyes Laharl.

I'm not poring over your follow list to make sure I'm only suggesting ones you don't already have. I also can't be bothered to link, so there!
Underappreciated (at least ones I perceive as such—I bet at least one of these guys already has 1k followers and I just don't know it, though many of them only have a few stories) who might be worth a gander would be... well, I'm also going for guys I think have a good attitude. If there's someone who's good and doesn't have the followers to show it, but he's also incredibly full of himself, I'm not sticking my neck out for him. Hey, look! Someone already mentioned the one I had in mind!

I have several favorite authors, but most of them stopped writing. Of those that still do, Dafaddah is always a good choice. Shinzakura if you like humans and long continuity.

4323905 TBH, with most semi-celebrities I would be extremely dubious, but he's self-awaredly eccentric enough that really it could go either way here. Obviously I hope it's actually him, but if it's not, then it's a pretty fucking perfect parody. Didn't he have a royal guard interview for "Let me tell you about the hole in my face"?
