The Bearers have fallen, the Princesses are long gone and the villains have taken over Equestria. How this happened, nopony knows. Some say it was Sombra, who killed every Bearer in their sleep with nightmares. Others say that Chrysalis sucked the Princesses dry of their love and killed them, while some say it was Lord Tirek who killed them, who was currently the ruler of Equestria. And the only hope ponies had, has been defeated at the death of her brother. However, weak but standing Akiko managed to build a hidden kingdom, where the good ponyfolk can seek shelter. And her reborn brother Discord can live happily without the horrible treacheries of his past life. However Discord gets lost after an incident and has to make it back to his sister and the village. But it won't be long until he realizes the true treacherous world out there. And about the old legend of the Lord of Chaos...)

Twilight was a happy pony, with best friends, her castle and all the books she could dream off. Clearly she felt like the luckiest mare alive, and knew that nothing could take it away. Until... Fluttershy was always different, an outcast to be precise. She has, powers, visions. Visions about the future. Everypony calls her crazy, so she decides not to share her secrets with anyone. But her roommate, also lifelong friend, Discord does believe her. But things in the big city help her to put her mind at rest. Until they start again. And she receives visions of her friends, not good ones. She later finds a mysterious mare who has her same abilities. Is just like her. But sometimes, you can't always control your powers.

Equestria is dying, falling apart, and Celestia tasks the Mane 6, Spike, and Discord, to venture to the unknown Outlands to retrieve the Reviving Seed, which can save the dying kingdom. But, once they make it there, they make a terrible discovery.

Friendship there doesn't exist. Twilight thinks it's preposterous, but it was true. Here, only distrust and betrayal layed. And worse, the ruler of the Outlands wasn't exactly a friendly king. But the deeper they go, the more the darkness creeps in. What's worse, they aren't exactly welcomed there.
