The year is 1977.

So October 2019, my good friend GMBlackjack had an operation for one reason or another and came home high as a kite. The discord we're both on bugged him to write something, since he's a very creative person and we thought it'd be comedy gold. And it was.

Fast forward to last month, I was telling a story to the same discord of trying to cook eggs while high (I'm Canadian and only use government-regulated edible cannabis, so all very safe and legal. I do not condone breaking the law) And it was suggested that I follow GM's example and try to write something next chance I got.

Well that chance was last night, and the result is what you'll read below. I may post more stories, but for now it's just the one.

There's been a slight amount of editing, mostly to fix a bit of grammar and spelling, I left the lack of sense and rapid pace untouched, XD

What do you do on a bad day? Do you read a book? Do you listen to music and calm down? What about robbing a bank?

No, of course you wouldn't do that. But then again, you aren't a mad scientist pegasus with a history of hair-brained schemes; nor do you have a cooky unicorn friend that wants to be an internet star.

Now the real question is, how bad must the day be in order to push you to that point?

This is the debut of my first official work edited by the brilliant SoloBrony, who has graciously agreed to edit for me on future projects as well. (expect a sudden quality spike on GHT2 whenever I get around to continuing that one)

This story is a sequel to Ghost Hunter Twilight

It's been several weeks since Twilight and Spike went to the outer district of Partyville. They met Pinkie, who turned out to be loud and annoying. Rainbow Dash, who was just a waste of space. Applejack, a Polish ghost Bound to the farms. And Fluttershy Pastel Gardens who... well it doesn't matter, Spike's out for blood with that one.

It got mixed up in all sorts of adventures. Like living above Oakfield's bookstore, and getting Locked-Out, and remember when Trixie showed up? Oh man, that was fun. But the world moves on, and they move on with it.

No time to get settled in though, there's a new problem on the rise. Who's running things? Where are Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo? And for the love of all things peace and quiet, where did all these clones come from?!!

In the aftermath of Season 8, Twilight Sparkle has matured considerably, And Celestia couldn't be prouder of how she's grown. But They aren't quite done, there's still one last series of events to finish.

I had this idea while I was browsing Twitter and it wouldn't get out of my head, so here it is. It's a bit more edited than my normal style, but hopefully it hasn't strayed too far from my original idea. Also hopefully it's well written.

An adventure starring a happy-go-lucky pony starting her life by leaving home. Will she find love? Horror? Drama? Comedy? Other tags? I certainly don't know because this is an interactive story.

That's right, you get to suggest things for me to add or incorporate. and I'll add them in any way I can. Maybe you want there to suddenly be a clone? Or perhaps a mishap with a beehive? Anything goes, there is no rules besides the following.

1) I have final say on how I incorporate your suggestion into the story, so it'll happen, but it could be the topic of a conversation instead of actually happening, as an example.

2) Try not to say anything sexual. I know there's tags for that, and if I were another person I wouldn't mind as much, but cartoon pony sex squicks me out and I'd like not to have to write about it.

3) Don't be afraid to be creative, you can suggest events, or world-building, or anything. Don't try to limit yourself into something just because you're afraid other people won't like it.

4) I won't tolerate whining just because I didn't do what you wanted the way you wanted it. The goal here is to have several or more people commenting and suggesting things, if I did things exactly as told, that'd limit it for other people.

I hope we can write something memorable together. Something fun, something cool, something enjoyable. I've never done this sort of thing before, but it's been working out for other people I know and I hope we can have a good time.

My entry into FanOfMostEverything's Villain Exchange Program contest. The limitation is Write a story with a pony villain in the human world, or vice versa.

So at the castle of the Two Sister's Nightmare Moon attempts to defeat Celestia and take over Equestria, a classic story. However, when Celestia turns the battle in her favour, instead of locking Luna in the moon, for some reason she ends up in a world populated by humans.

This is set a few months after that, part way through her travels, and instead of being the entire story, we simply see a small slice of the adventure.

After all, what kind of person would I be if you got the entire story? XD

Welcome to a different sort of Equestria, there is no Nightmare Moon or Princess Celestia, No elements of Harmony and no bad guys. Just normal ponies doing normal pony things. Like sleep in bushes, read the thoughts of dragons, and believe in ghosts.

Welcome to Ghost Hunter Twilight.

So right off the bat you may notice a fundamentally different sort of story to the canon show. One with the same characters, but with different personalities and roles. It isn't apparent in the first chapter alone, since at first glance it just seems like the pilot episode plus and minus a few things. But don't worry, I've got plans.

If you're not interested in a slightly more...condescending interpretation of Twilight, you may want to skip this one. I rewrote the character the way i wanted to. And I suppose technically the way i did it, if I changed the names, it'd be an original story, instead of a fanfic, but well, here we are.

2018 -01-17: And today marks the day this story officially shoots past Unblinking in terms of total view count. Which I consider significant because my Blink story was built on the shoulders of giants, it had a pre-existing fanbase. But Ghost Hunter Twilight is entirely my own creation, it has nothing to build off of (in terms of pre-existing fanfiction) so it's much more noteworthy.

So I recently came across the Blinkverse and fell in love with it. It's dark and rife with fridge horror, but without choving it down your throat. So because I couldn't get my interest in it to go away. I decided to throw my hat in, and either do an introspective piece or an alternate take. I'll let you figure out which one I leaned more towards.

I'm admitedly not the best at proof reading my own work beyond spell-checking. so please forgive the errors you find with grammar, pacing, and general hampering my lack of writing skill provides. XD

This is a sequel to Eyes Open, Written by Foal's Errand (whom I asked permission to post) which is itself a sequel to Blinking by Lumberjack, which is ITSELF a sequel to the origin story Blink, written by Ocalhoun. Doing a bit of simple math, that places me at Tier 4

It was an unusual day for Princess Twilight Sparkle. Normally she'd be busy with royal duties, or solving some form of friendship problem, but on this particular day she was free to do as she wished. She awoke to Spikes cooking, she had a friendly conversation with her friendly friends, and she did some science.

So with such a lovely day, what could possibly go wrong?
