It's been years since Twilight took over as sole princess alongside her friends to help. Starlight's been headmare of the friendship school for a few years, and all seems perfect with no new threats or problems... that is, until the princess dissapears. No one knows where Twilight is. Celestia and Luna take her place for the time being, but it does not solve the problem that lingers in everycreature's minds.

One night... That was all it took for the greatest musical legend in Equestria to be born.

Daughter of a disgraced violinist and a father she never met. Octavia Melody must go through many things before she fulfills her biggest dream: to play in the Canterlot orchestra during the princesses' concert that is celebrated every twenty years.

With a goal in mind, she'll need every gift, unexpected friends and everything she knows about the musical world of Equestria to make her way into the place she dreams of.

'How I imagine an alternate story of Octavia. I'll try to follow cannon in it as best as I can though it will be different in some parts, which is the reason it has Alternate Universe as a tag.'

Long hiatus. Unsure on when I will continue, although I am seriously considering re-writing due to the fact that I wrote this many years ago and the whole story could really use a good cleanup or reset. I will post updates once I get down to it but for now it'll stay in a hiatus.

It´s a snowy day in Ardennes; An American officer and his soldiers were keeping watch when a German attack commences. It´s the beginning of the 'Battle of the Bulge'. The battle goes on, he is soon taken out by a tank´s shot that fell close to his position. The moment he wakes up, the officer finds out that he is no longer in Ardennes anymore.... soon he learns something else... It is no longer Earth.

* * * * * *

A German soldier advances against the americans as soon as he hears the order of attack. Explosions engulf all around as a tank explodes, making him lose consciousness. When he finally wakes up, he finds an angry American officer pointing at him, the sun high up in the sky, and everything green all around. That´s when the question arises on his mind... Where is he???

Nimble Hoof, a journalist for the newspaper called "The Daily Hoof", is in problems. Her stories are not what her editor wants. He feels they are too slow and unnecessary. She seeks a way to make her stories better and don´t lose his job. When a friend of her mentions the low streets of Canterlot, a dangerous place full of thieves and outlaws, she has an idea. If she can have stories from those places, will she keep her job?

What she doesn´t know is that entering those places is a dead end with no return. When someone gets involved into the low society of Canterlot, there is no escape. Will her plan be as bright as she imagined it to be, or will she end up lost into a world she has never known of?

On his adventures he is going to meet many friends that are nothing compared to what he had bac in ponyville; he´ll meet celebrities and will fight evil villains, all in a questi for finding an ancient lost relic that can change the fate of the world itself...
