The weight of time tugs heavily against the shoulders of young Alistair, the wearied span of merely two years feeling like centuries to the tender child. But when a rumored treasure is believed to be buried deep within Griffon territory, an eager Alistair graciously accepts the assignment, finally seeing a chance to steer meaning back into his life. Given an offer he can’t refuse, Alistair is summoned to the University of Canterlot by a vague letter with an even vaguer pretense. Requesting an official background examination, the scholars of Equestria wish to finally document the details of his presence in the realm and achieve some sort explanation of his odd arrival, the facts of which he’s been reluctant to explain.

Presiding over the ordeal is the stalwart stallion Professor Neuro Paraprax, Director of Human Studies within the esteemed institution and hopeful optimist for the results the examination will yield. With a hardy education under his belt, and an incredible diligence for the facts, it seems that all will turn out well.

But, as the questions take a dark twist, and Alistair find’s himself increasingly unsettled by the answers, the problems of the past may be prove to be the least of his concerns.

Inviting Princess Celestia of Equestria and Oda Nobunaga of Japan to the wonderful city of Amsterdam, William firmly believes that he can personally coerce the bumbling tyrants to not declare a world war that would possibly tear the planet apart. Unfortunately, peace and tranquility are a hard to acquire gift when dealing with absolute twits.
