This story is a sequel to What Remains III: Cracked Sky

The weight of time tugs heavily against the shoulders of young Alistair, the wearied span of merely two years feeling like centuries to the tender child. In this short time he's traveled across the far reaches of Equestria, met some of nicest friends he could ask for and has come to terms with his much darker side.

Still optimistic about his future, he decides to visit an old friend in the sleepy town of Sunset Grove, hopeful that he'll be able to understand what troubles him most while rekindling a lost friendship. What he doesn't realize is that there's still bounds he must cross within himself and still must resolve the deepest issues he's kept locked away for the longest of times.

interesting, but I thought it was going to rewrite the last saga or would write something new

6165278 There's definitely is a sequel in the works, no doubt about it. In no way did this entry wrap up the entirety of the characters or cover everything that's going to be in the current saga itself. I have TONS of ideas I still want to get across and wouldn't want to leave everyone with an entry that doesn't do what it's supposed to.

As for a rewrite of the older entries...I don't think I'd really want to try my hand at it. My interest really waned off the longer I wrote the What Remains saga, so much in fact that I opted to end the third installment, Cracked Sky, halfway in with a quick synopsis explaining what was supposed to happen later on. Perhaps a shortened retelling may come sometime in the future but for now I'd like to focus on where the character's will be going next and what kind of story will come out of it.

Either way, thank you very much for the compliment and your support. It really goes a long way. :pinkiesad2:
