S-K Of The Flame

T

Nearly one-thousand years ago, Princess Luna was forced to banish her sister into the sun to prevent the suffering of her subjects. This action had haunted her everyday since it happened. On this particular day, Luna reflects on her sister and the circumstances that seperated both of them.

A one-shot meant to set up a potential series of stories, "Selene's Kingdom"

Am going to rewrite at some point

interesting concept, if not very alternate universe oriented. also, didnt they only discover the element of magic after Twilight activated it?

In other thoughts, A thousand years on the sun. Ouch. dunno how anypony, even Celestia could survive that. I imagine her approaching it and then *poof* ash.
A bit dark, but realistic. I will watch:ajsmug:

Not very alternate universe oriented? :rainbowderp: Um, Celestia became evil, Luna's ruled for the past 1000 years. What exactly isn't t very alternate universe based about that?

And I don't think they ever said whether Luna or Celestia had access to the element of magic or not, so I just went with they're not able to use the Elements full power because there were only two of them and six Elements. Glad you liked it, by the way.

Oh heh, said it wrong. I meant, It's VERY AU oriented. excuse me, Ive been writing like all day today, so I get mixed up here and there. I kinda meant it like : Its interesting, and if it isnt, then at least it has that AU aspect to keep it afloat. Makes a bit more sense, eh?:derpytongue2::derpytongue2::derpytongue2:

Good assumption with the elements then. I like how theyre split up. Also, did Luna essentially grow into the Nightmare Moon style body, without all the evil 'Night forever' rants? Dashie Likie!:pinkiehappy:

Please continue to pique my interest.

I would say that she looks more like Celestia does in the show, just with a dark blue coat and a black mane with stars in it. And no, she doesn't get into Night forever rants. Because shes essentially the only Princess on the Throne, she gets alot more attention and so does her night, so she grew out of that jealousy faze that turned her evil in the first place.

On the subject of the Elements, I'm pretty sure if you look at the story book thing in the first episode, in one of the pictures, Celestia's wearing the Element of Magic.

And continue? This a one shot. If It gets enough attention, I'll probably expand on the universe after I'm done with my other story.

Okay that answers my queries.

Why thank You! :pinkiehappy: I hope to please.

Dude...this is just amazing. Once again, your story telling skills never cease to amaze me man :raritystarry:

I've seen this concept a few others times and I really like it, but it seemed to me like Luna was kind of boastful as she was banishing her sister, rather than be sorrowful the entire time like I would expect. Also, having the Elements talk to her at the end and call her master didn't really fit with the story.
