There's some spelling mistakes, so getting an editor would be good, and the part with Butterscotch x Fluttershy didn't have enough build up, it seemed "suddenly, this!" to me.

well i'd say they get to keep on living because the day will never come that they wont be together any more since you have writers block THIS BADLY, then its just another cliff hanger 
but im glad to of read it anyway, i thought it was a great short story.
