"WAIT YOU CANNOT GO TO MANEHATTAN.IT’S SUICIDE.THE V’NOOKS HAS OVERUN THAT PLACE AND MADE THEIR BASE.”
"Who are you?"Twilight asked quizzically
"Where are my manners, my name is Aftershock and i am an alicorn.I believe you are Twilight Sparkle, student of her highness Princess Celestia, element of magic?"Aftershock said
"Yes, and who is this 'V’nook' guy anyway and why can’t we go study, um I meant see the crashed shooting star?"Twilight replied politely
"Yeah, like what twilight said, why can't we go see the shooting star? Its not like this 'V’nook' guy is that tough. I bet I can pin him down in seconds."rainbowdash said.
"Look, you might not know the V’nook species but they come from Ignominus of the Minulis universe. Another universe, in other words. They always come every millennium-"
"WAIT, AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE!!!OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY-"
"Yes as I was saying, they come every millennium, invading Equestria, trying to take over this free land."
"So your saying some sort of crazy species is trying to take over Equestria?hahahahhahaha, hey Aftershock, THAT was the BEST JOKE I’ve ever heard!Even BETTER than pinkie pie! ahahahaha"rainbowdash shouted.
"This is not a joke.Manehattan has been destroyed. What’s left of it is a giant V’nook base."Aftershock relied seriously
"Yeah right"rainbowdash retorted
"What he said might be true, if the comet was really a war machine, then the mothership might have been cloaked. “Twilight said thoughtfully
"what? Twilight you actually believe this pony who came out of nowhere and stopped us from taking a train to Manehattan to see the star? You’ve got to be kidding me twilight"
"NO I am not lying and yes twilight, the mother ship WAS cloaked."
"But the power consumption of the cloaking device for a mother ship must be huge. And even a dozen alicorns can pull of such a powerful magic spell!"Twilight said
"Yes, that’s why they created electricity. Basically lightning in rubber tubes filled with metal. Anyways you need to bring the rest of the elements for harmony now."
Twilight ask:"Wait if the shooting star was the war machine of the 'V’nook' race, then the war machine's hide must protect it from even the hardest impact when re-entering the atmosphere."

Bad news:
The author told me that he would not finish the story.
One, i know this because we went to the same school.
And two, he believed that people would not like his story.

Thats horrible to hear as i and a co-writer have written our first fan fic and our first comment was insulting but we didn't quit we proved him wrong and have made it a mediocre story that isn't bad. So if he loves doing it i suggest he carries on doing it no matter what all i can tell you is that i will read and follow him no matter what
