When he becomes of age, Spike sets out on a mission given to him by the princesses: to get married. But, as usual, he gets more than he bargained: so much more. Tons of worldbuilding abounds in this story, along with clop and other fun stuff.

lol forgot this story even existed
Just so you know, I almost made inhuman noises in the middle of the classroom building when I saw two updates to this story and two new stories from you. I can't fucking wait to read them. Does this mean you'll update more often?
7619638 I am hoping so. I do have at least one other story in the works, very nearly done in most regards, though it'll still take some time before it's ready. I just had a writing blitz and it's been too cold outside where I work (which is also where I live) to be outside with my roommates around the fire, so writing has become my main focus once more outside of work.
i also have a secret project I've sorta-worked on, but will definitely devote more time to in the near future.
Love the updates and I hope to see more soon.
Yay, a batpony!
Hmm... That cloaked person... Uh Oh.
I just love thestrals or batponies, they are so cute.
Theres only two things that could stop the Marengols. Death, and Sol Invictus. The two are not often indivisible.
And the usual question ends up, if we are fighting, who set us up, and who stands to gain who isnt involved.
Spike is yet to send messages back to Celestia concerning the refugees and destroyed city yet?
The only place at this time I can think where Mr Bacon is from, was where Spike went Dragon Rage, and apparently didnt complete the job. I really hope Mr Bacon doesnt try something totally stupid, as having Spike learn how to use his message breath for point accuracy teleport of small items over short distances can be very upsetting to the suprise recipient.
wow, that guy is about as hard to kill as ridley
YAY, thanks for the chapters
Oh fuck, this guy doesn't know when to quit. I hope he doesn't try to pull another Istanbul stunt again with the Marengols
If you are basing the Khan on Genghis then Spike should stay very, very far away.
Well now, seems like you're preparing wave two of waifus to charge in with Eutropia :3
So freaking happy to see this story still going.
oh look a thorn that has shown again
>>DJPON3LEGEND2047
........what?
I'm glad this story is still going. Just wondering though how long until itll be finished? I like to download stories like this in epub format on my ibooks app so I can access them whenever. But I prefer to download completed stories so I down have to download everytime there is an update. If you could shed some light id be most appreciative.
7822458 Well, I would say it is nearly halfway done. I do seek to continue it, I'm just relatively prone to procrastination, have a new job I'm still getting used to, and to top everything off, I'm publishing my own book for the first time.
So, when the new year begins, I intend to revisit this story and write for it once more (among others), now that the stress of writing my first publication is over.
While I love this story there is one fact you got wrong about he Mongolians and their Khan.
The Mongolians under the rule of ghengis Khan and his desendants were actually one of the first Nations to allow the freedom of religion letting the people of the Nations he conquerd to keep their religions and cultures .
He also made sure that libraries temples and other places of learning were left unharmed during attacks as he believed that knowledge should be sared and never lost
8066291
I have only made it to chapter 43 at the time of this post
8066291 Well, Genghis may have done a lot of that (being somewhere between a Theravada Buddhist and, according to some, later a Christian of sorts (Nestorian), or his son Odghedai as well), it was a grandson of his that sacked Baghdad and utterly destroyed it, killing all the scholars and umping the countless texts and manuscripts into the river. If someone surrendered immediately upon being offered terms (white tent), the mongols more or less had them pay tribute (food, supplies, soldiers in some cases) but more or less left them alone so long as they did what they were told. Those that surrendered later when the red tent was erected (or were taken during that phase), the men were killed and women/children sold into slavery or taken as slaves/tribute themselves. Black tent? Literally everyone dies, city burned to the ground, brick by brick dismantled until there is nothing left, etc.
That's why China's population dropped by near 50 percent during the course of the Mongol invasions, and why we know so little about the Tanguts.
have you givin up or what id like to finish this story if at all possible if not just let me know so i can remove it and move on
8080783 Nope, the next chapter should be out before the end of the week.
