Will he be able to return Nightmare Moon to his dream Luna? Or will Celestia and her Bearers use the Elements of Harmony on her again?

wait wouldn't her new name be Nightmare Moon or am I missing something here?
1619901 Nightmare Moon is her dark side, the side that is jealous and vengeful. Princess Luna is her usual, good side that is caring and all. In the canon, she is only small after the Elements hit her because all her main powers were taken away, ridding her of her jealousy somehow. If she kept her powers, she would remain her large self like she used to be before she became jealous and grew dark until she became Nightmare Moon.

But my current stories, Halo: Equestria and Borderlands: Labyrinthus, along with one I have stopped for now, Fallout: Equestia - Loyalty Lost, are all long due to the fact they are based off of games and I desire to live up to the legacy, Halo with the books and games, Borderlands with both games, especially the second, and Fallout with FO:E by Kkat themselves, which is my favorite story of all time.

1621028 ...? That was stupid. Equestria developed much like our own, meaning that prophecies would be a common thing. Since there is magic, they would also be real. But to create something to set the future, it would create a lot of magic. Dage has a ton of power because of the enchated armor, allowing him to pull off the prophecy. Celestia's plan was to use the Elements to take away Princess Luna's powers and cast out the dark side of her known as Nightmare Moon. Dage's is to use his emotions to make Luna realize she is loved and basically rid of the Nightmare Moon side herself. The former is the use of magic, the latter is the use of convincing and all. Think of it as someone who has two sides to them: their good, nice side and their evil hurtful side. One way to get rid of that evil side and have the good side be in control and all is to talk with the person. Another is to have the evil side surgically removed since everything we are is just some part of our brain firing.

Agreed. Most chapters elsewhere are bigger than this entire story. By great Derpy herself, a single scene could be more than 2847 words fairly easily.

1799664 The way he worded it sounds like he looked at the number and decided it has to suck. And that is no way to judge a story. Yes, I "ugh" everytime I see a long story that I turn to txt manually for my MP3 since I can't really read otherwise, but I accept the length. Length doesn't mean it is goo or bad. I have read really great short stories and really great series. Some of those short stories are better than some extremely good series.
As a side note, the story is being re-editted, some of it already done in a second BONUS, "The Other Perspective", and it will be a whole lot longer because of the detail I want to extend. I also need to fix how it started in Canterlot, when it really started in Ponyville. Oops.
My rewrite of all but The Other Perspective is done.

Soon, it will also be here, but no, it won't be fully done yet for you and many others still have yet to point out the little things I miss, which is why I have them in Google Docs, so that is made easily for you.
